    of James with videos by Francis Chan. This weekly program is every Tuesday, beginning Tuesday, November 10,

    7:00-8:30 p.m. in the life|story room at the La Vista Site. Come when you can and bring a friend or neighbor!!

    Health Ministry The Health Ministry Team will be sponsoring a 6 week virtual Journey to Bethlehem. We will

    be counting our physical and spiritual activities (in miles) in hope that we as a congregation

    can “walk” the 6,457 miles from Omaha/Council Bluffs to the Bethlehem. You can sign up in

    the Information Center. Our walk will run from Sunday, November 15 - Sunday, December

    27. The first 100 participants to sign up will receive a free pedometer. Please contact

    Women’s Bible Study Join us for a Women’s Advent Bible Study beginning Thursday, November 19, 9:00 a.m. We

    will be studying “The Journey: Walking the Road to Bethlehem” by Adam Hamilton. We will

    explore the birth of Jesus by walking through the Holy Land, retracing the steps of Mary,

    210 Project The 210 Project is a 12-session study based on Ephesians 2:10: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ

    Jesus for good works, which God has prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” This study helps to

    answer questions like, “What am I here for? What Does God want me to do with my

    life? and Will the Lord give me the ability to do what He wants me to do?” This

    practical, engaging and intentional process will guide you to discovering your unique

    spiritual DNA. Class size is limited and preparations are being made for the next session

    which will begin on Sunday, January 10, 12:15 p.m. at the La Vista Site. For more information, contact Brenda

    Women’s Connection The next brunch will be on Saturday, November 14, 9:30 a.m. in the Lower Fellowship Hall at the La Vista Site.

    The speaker is Joyce Yexley from West Fargo, ND who will be speaking on “Not My Plan-A Mother’s Unexpected

    Journey. Come to hear her story and you will be inspired. She will also be presenting Christmas Vintage

    Fashions. Bring a friend and come enjoy a fun morning! Cost of the brunch is $11.50. Please RSVP to Susan

    Poinsettias It’s time to order your poinsettias again to decorate the church for Christmas. Poinsettias will be

    placed around the church including the Worship Center. The costs of the plants is $7.00 for a 6-

    inch plant with 5-7 blooms. Please place your order in the envelopes on the back tables of the

    Worship Center and place the envelopes in the basket on the fireplace in the front office.

    Deadline to order is Sunday, December 13.

    Installation Rev. Eddie Mekasha will be installed as Beautiful Savior’s part-time Associate Pastor for Mission

    Outreach TODAY, 3:00 p.m. at the Peace International Friendship Center (3314 S 44 Ave) Thisth

    service will be a blend of several cultural and traditional forms. Additionally, Pastor Jim, Center

    Director and Sharon Odom, Center Ministry Manager, POBLO missionaries Emad & Shirleen

    Tawadrous and all the volunteers will be commissioned. A reception will follow the service.

    Spread the Warmth The City of La Vista will be collecting new or gently used coats, hats and mittens from

    November 1 - December 31. All coats donated will be given to La Vista families through

    Heartland Family Service. Beautiful Savior is serving as a drop off location. Please place your

    coats, hats and mittens in the donation box located in the coat closet.

    Parent’s Room Do you have gently used toys or books that need a new home? Do you have more crayons

    and markers than you know what to do with? The Parent’s Room in the back of the Worship

    Center is in need of some new toys and other activities for children to use during church

    services. We are in need of toys, books, crayons, markers, coloring books, etc for all ages.
