Ladies Bible StudyA new Ladies Bible Study will begin on Thursday, June 2, 9:00 a.m. and we will be studying Lysa

TerKeurst’s “What Happens When Women Say Yes to God.” Join us as we learn how to discern

New HorizonsThe next meeting of New Horizons will be on Thursday, June 2, 11:30 a.m. in the Upper Fellowship

Hall at the La Vista Site. Members are asked to bring their favorite picnic food for the annual

picnic potluck. Hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages and buns will be provided. Please RSVP by

Monday, May 30 to your hostess (A-Mc - Marlene Church - 402-350-7021; Me-Z - Alice Downey -

402-493-3944) Entertainment for this meeting will be board/card games. Bring a guest and your

favorite game!

VBSWe are in need of volunteers for both sessions!! We are looking for several Station Leaders,

as well as our normal high need of Crew Leaders. If you feel God may be calling you to

serve in this way, please contact Dina Newsom ([email protected]) for more

information. Training sessions are scheduled for both sites: Saturday, June 4, 9:00 a.m.;

Tuesday, June 7 & Wednesday June 8, 7:00 p.m. at the La Vista Site and Tuesday, June 14,

7:00 p.m. at the Northwest Site. A few spots are still available at the La Vista session and

plenty of spots are available at Northwest (Concordia High School, 156 & Fort).th

Biblical Principles of Marriage ClassThis class gives engaged couples the Scriptural foundation for a blessed marriage and all couples who are

getting married at Beautiful Savior or by a Beautiful Savior Pastor are required to attend. The next time the class

meets is Saturday, June 4, 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the Upper Fellowship Hall at the La Vista Site.

Financial Peace UniversityWe will be offering another session of Financial Peace University at the La Vista Site this summer.

The classes will meet on Monday nights, 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Upper Fellowship Hall at the La

Vista site beginning Monday, June 6 and running through Monday, August 8 with no classes on

Monday, July 4. You may register online at www.daveramsey.com . Unfortunately we will not

be able to offer childcare this time. Please contact Julie Korte ([email protected]) with any

High School Pool PartyHigh School pool parties begin on Wednesday, June 8, 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the home of Tom &

Susan Lewis (10356 Virginia Circle). Bring a friend and join us on Wednesday nights for pizza,

L.I.F.T.We will be taking a school bus to Loess Hills Lavender Farm in Missouri Valley, IA. where we

will learn how lavender is grown & cultivated and it’s many uses from therapy to foods. We

will meet at the La Vista Site on Monday, June 13 at 10:00 a.m. and return at approximately

3:00 p.m. The cost is $20 per person and includes entrance fee, box lunch and bus ride.

Please park on the south side of the church so there won’t be interference with Vacation

Bible School. Seating is limited and reservations must be prepaid so please RSVP to Karen

Ladies Bible StudyJoin us on Monday, June 13, 7:00 p.m. in room 216 at the La Vista Site for a new Ladies Bible Study -

“The Longing in Me” a 6 week video based Bible Study by Sheila Walsh. Do your longings have you

going around in circles? Sheila Walsh draws on the trials in her life and the story of King David to

show that our longings are rooted in a deep need for God. The book and between session

Golf ScrambleThe 17 Annual Concordia Booster Club 4 -Person Golf Scramble will be held on Wednesday, Juneth

1, 12:30 p.m. at Tiburon Golf Course. Entry fee is $115 per person and includes a dinner banquet.

Single golfers are welcome to register. Proceeds raised will support Concordia athletics and fine

2016 Lutheran NightTickets are now available for the Omaha Storm Chasers Lutheran Night on

Monday, June 6, 7:05 p.m. at Werner Park. Tickets are available for $6 for

reserved baseline box tickets and $10 for reserved infield box tickets when

reserved by Wednesday, June 1. This is an exclusive and special rate for all

Lutheran Night ticket orders as a way of saying thank you for your support over

the years in helping make this night grow. Over 1,400 Lutherans from over 60

churches attended Lutheran Night in 2015 and they would like to go for over
