Sunday Morning StudiesStuff They Left Out of “The Story”. . . If you’ve been faithfully reading “The Story” you’ve gotten a good

The Story . . . will resume on Sunday, January 4. There will be no adult or youth classes on Sunday January 28

Health MinistryOrgan, eye and tissue donation allows you the opportunity to give hope to the more than123,000 people in need of lifesaving organ transplants and the thousands more in need ofhealing cornea and tissue transplants. Check out the Health Ministry table in the lobby thismorning to get more information or sign up to be an organ, eye and tissue donor. Also, thenext Blood Drive will be held on Saturday, January 10, 7:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the La VistaSite in the Lower Fellowship Hall.

AdventJoin us for our last Advent service and dinner on Wednesday, December 17. Dinner is from 5:00-6:15

p.m. at the La Vista Site in the Lower Fellowship Hall and worship is at 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center.

Dinner this week will be served by the Tuesday Morning Bible Study ladies and the menu is sloppy joes,

baked beans chips and desserts.

Kid’s Night OutNeed to get some Christmas shopping done? How about a date night? Or do you just need a

night at home without the extra pitter patter of little feet? Let our high school and college youth

take care of your kids for an evening of dinner, playtime, and a movie in a Christian environment.

Suggested donation is $15 for the first child and $5 for each sibling. We will be providing care on

the following nights: Saturday, December 19 and January 2. All proceeds go to assists the students

with their summer mission trips.

Peace Center Christmas CelebrationWe will be serving dinner, playing games and sharing our stories at the Peace Center (3314 S 44 Ave) onth

Friday, December 19, 5:00-8:00 p.m. We are in need of turkeys, side dishes and desserts for dinner. If you are

Office ClosedThe Church office will be closed on Thursday, December 25 and Friday, December 26 for the Christmas

holiday. The office will also be closed on Thursday, January 1 for New Year’s Day.

Christmas at Beautiful SaviorJoin us as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. Our Christmas Eve services are: 1:00 & 11:00

p.m. Traditional worship with Communion and 3:00, 5:00, 7:00 p.m. Contemporary Worship

with no Communion. Our Christmas Day service will be at 10:00 a.m. with Communion.

There will be no Sunday School, Adult Bible Studies or services at our multi-site locations on

Sunday, December 28. There will be a Monday night service on December 29 but there

will be NO New Year’s Eve Service on December 31.

Ladies Bible StudyJoin us for a new Women’s Bible Study on Thursday, January 8, 9:00 a.m. We will be studying “Sermon

on the Mount” by Jen Wilkin. This study will challenge us to think differently about what it means to be

a follower of Jesus, a citizen of the kingdom of heaven. This study is led by Nancy Weiss. Please

210 ProjectThe 210 Project is a 12 session study based on Ephesians 2:10, that is designed to help you

answer two pressing questions to help you find your place in God’s story. Our next session

will begin on Saturday, January 10 and Sunday, January 11. Contact Marv Vala (402-331-

Grief Support GroupThis group is open to anyone, men or women, who are dealing with grief. The group will begin meeting every

other month on Tuesday, January 13 at 7:00 pm in the Lower Fellowship Hall.

Worship RetreatThis retreat for confirmation students will be held on Friday, January 16, 6:00-9:30 p.m. at the La

Vista site in the Student Center. There will also be an optional lock-in starting at 10:00 p.m.

Everyone should bring a 12 pack of pop and a snack to share. Contact Josh Keithley

Financial Peace UniversityThe next Financial Peace University class will be held Mondays, 6:00-8:00 p.m. beginning January

19. This class will be held at the Northwest Site (15656 Fort Street). Free childcare will be available
