In the week ended 16th September 2016, AcuComm added 44 new or updated waste projects
to our Business Database, worth an estimated US$7,317 million and waste capacity of just
under 12.3 million tonnes.
This takes the cumulative total to 4,400 active projects since 2013,
with a total estimated investment value of US$339.1 billion.

incineration was the largest category, accounting for just
over 7.1 million tonnes.
The total estimated power generation from these projects

accounting for 1,714 MW.
