We are now just one week away from our Winter Concerts on December 5th and 6th. Try to come out to both nights of concerts, if you can, to see all the great music that WHS (and WMS 8th graders) have worked so hard on the past few months. Below are the details of each group's participation in the concerts. Please make sure that you have checked Concert Attire and made any necessary adjustments so there aren't any last

minute concerns in that area.

Orchestra families, please remember this Thursday afternoon's combined rehearsal after school. The rehearsal will only take one hour and students will be dismissed at 3:30pm.

Jazz Ensemble families, PLEASE take another look at the schedule that musicians brought home when they signed up to be in either the Blue Jazz Band or Owl Jazz Ensemble. We have had quite a few students missing from each of the after school rehearsals. For these groups to be successful, all band members need to attend the weekly after school rehearsals. Later this week, Owl Jazz Ensemble will meet on Wednesday and they have a performance coming up next Saturday, 12/10 at the Westminster Library - details coming this week!

Finally, congratulations and thanks to the members of the marching band and their families for the great performance on Saturday with the Winters Mill marching band at the Miracle on Main Street parade.

HOLIDAY WREATHS (ALLIMB) The Holiday Wreath Pickup will be on Thursday Dec 1st from 3:30 to 6:00pm in the Band Room Hallway. Please note the earlier pick up time to coincide with the combined Orchestra rehearsal. If you are unable to pick up your wreath (or send someone to get it), please contact Bonnie 443-935-7407 call/text, as soon as possible. We do have a few extras available, only $25 each!

HOLIDAY SHOPPING OPEN HOUSE (ALLIMB) Holiday Shopping Open House! This Sat Dec 3rd from 6-9 pm at Bonnie Konsen's Home (435 Barnes Ave Westminster): All proceeds from this event go to fill the baskets and bags for the Bingo in February! Origami Owl, Dove Chocolate Discoveries, Partylite Candles, Tastefully Simple & Tupperware! Stop by to place an order, pick up some cash & carry items, and have some delicious food! All are welcome! THANK YOU!!! (ALLIMB) A BIG THANK YOU to Everyone who donated prizes & food, volunteered, or came to play at the Quarters’ Auction on Fri Nov 18th. We had 105 people come to play, and made a profit of $4,000! Wow! All proceeds go to the entire music program at WHS. Mark your calendars for the next big fundraiser: Basket & Bag Bingo on Friday, February 10th at Gamber Fire Hall!

PICTURES R’ US (MB) Here are instructions for viewing/purchasing Westminster HS Marching Band pictures online. Pictures ordered the night of photos were mailed and you should have received them. To view/purchase pictures just follow these steps: 1 Go to www.pictures-r-us.com 2 Enter your email address and session ID (case sensitive): whsband2016 3 Choose your image; select the item(s) from the list on the right. Enter the quantity of each item for that image 4 Click on Update Cart at the bottom of the list to add items to your cart 5 Repeat steps 3 & 4 for each image 6 Click on View Cart/Checkout at the bottom of the list when ready to checkout 7 Click on pay with PayPal (they accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) you do not need a PayPal account it will let you pay as a guest. Please note the packages are not available online as they are exclusive to Picture Day. However, the package items are available individually on the online pricelist. JANUARY JAZZ NIGHT (ALL IMB): Friday, January 6 is our first Jazz Night of this school year. Typically at this event, we try to give it a coffeehouse feel by providing refreshments....coffee/hot tea/hot chocolate, soda/water, baked goods, and snacks. However, I will be out of town and cannot run the concessions stand this time. I am looking for someone to step up and take my place that night. This is an easy event...as mentioned, it's just drinks, snacks, and baked goods. There is no cooking involved...just making coffee. I can help with the pre-work (gathering supplies, etc) before I go. And there will be other booster parents and/or students working the stand that night, so you would not be doing this all by yourself. IT’S TIME FOR THE TIME PHOTO ALBUM (MB) The Marching Band season is over. You can relive this memorable season by looking through your custom 2016 photo book. The photo book takes the viewer through a timeline of the season with key events and competitions. The photo book is customized to each purchaser. When your order is placed, we’ll go through all 3500 photos taken during the season and search for photos of your child (or child’s section) to give them a specific journey based on their individual experiences. This is the 3rd year of these custom photo albums and we know your student
