ANNOUNCEMENTS
Adult Sunday School classes The Adult Sunday School class meeting in the Library (at 11 AM) has begun the new and revised “Experiencing God” study. This is a relaxed, informal group and visitors are welcome to pop-in from time to time and join us or just to let us know what we might join you in prayer about. We especially love hearing your “answered prayer”!
Mark your calendars The Kimberton Fair will take place July 22 through
27. Thank you to all the volunteers who signed up to help sell sodas. Stop
by our booth to say hi and purchase a soda!
Summer Project for the Navajo Lutheran Mission Centennial will be collecting items for the Health Kits for the Navajo people. Items needed include: Hand towels, Bars of soap, shampoo, conditioner, travel razors, toothpaste, tooth-brushes, lotion, deodorant. Items may be travel size. Look for the collection container in the narthex. If you would like to donate money to help with post-age or for purchase of items, please make out your check to Centennial Church with Navajo health kit on the “memo line” and put it in the collection container in the narthex. IF CASH, please put in an envelope marked for the Navajo health kits and give to: Joanne Bielefeld or Phyllis Kurylak.
Pastor Dave Mueller, our former Interim Pastor is a veteran of a dozen trips to Israel/Palestine. He is planning his next trip for February 15-26 of 2014. If you have interest or questions, please contact Pastor Mueller at [email protected]
Christmas in July? Believe it or not, it’s time to start planning for the 21st Annual
Christmas Crafts Festival (November 9, 2013). Registration forms are now
available for crafters who wish to rent a table. Contact the church office if you are
interested. Also, Grandma will be in need of new items for her Attic. If you come
across any items in good, “sell-able” condition, please put them aside for
Grandma’s Attic.
Questions about designating offering to different funds? See Ron Allen, Tom Gradel, or Denise Ackroyd.
Giant Grocery Cards
You can purchase $25 or $50 pre-paid Giant grocery cards to benefit the youth
group. See Dave Jensen, Kathy Geiger, or Beth Wise or contact the church office
to order gift cards. We will be selling the gift cards at the 10 AM service this
summer.
Copies of the latest prayer list are in the narthex. To add someone to the list (you
must get their permission), contact Joanne at [email protected] or 610-286-
4813.
