The center will be a location where small businesses and the public can take advantage of the many free outreach programs that HART offers including Shop & Dine on the Line , Open for Business and Access Signage program, ShopTheCommunity.com web page program, and more. The center is open by appointment only from 10am to 2pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. HART is encouraging phone call and Zoom video conferencing appointments only during the COVID-19 pandemic. FREE WINDOW SIGNAGE FOR DILLINGHAMFREE WINDOW SIGNAGE FOR DILLINGHAMRESTAURANTS OFFERING TAKE-OUTRESTAURANTS OFFERING TAKE-OUT

HART is offering complimentary 11-inch x 17-inch window signage torestaurants on Dillingham Blvdcurrently open only for take-outorders. The free “Take-Out OrdersOnly” and “Hours of Operations”posters will be provided to businessesalong the Dillingham Blvdconstruction zone to help informcustomers of changes in hours andservices.

The signage is part of HART’s “Openfor Business During Construction”outreach program to assistbusinesses who may be impacted bythe City Center Utilities Relocationproject and the Covid-19 pandemic.

Designated Parking Stalls for Restaurant Drive-Thru and PickupBrick and mortar restaurants with limited parking and adjacent on-streetmetered parking may obtain up to three signed and marked bags to covermeters fronting and adjacent to their establishments. No parking will beallowed in these stalls designated with the special bag. These stalls areintended to allow customers to drive up to restaurants who may now offercurbside pickup. These stalls are not reserved specifically for any onerestaurant; neighboring restaurants must share the use of these parkingspaces with bagged meters.

Street Usage Permits for Food TrucksFood trucks and other businesses involved in the distribution of food mayobtain a special Street Usage Permit, valid until April 30, which will allow theirvehicles to park without paying in City metered stalls. These vehicles may notpark in stalls already bagged and marked, as described in Item 1 above, fordrive-thru pick up.

To obtain loading zone meter bags and Street Usage Permits for food trucks,visit the DTS table stationed in the lobby of Honolulu Hale (530 South KingStreet) between 2 and 4pm, March 30 - April 3.

A partnership of non-profit andgovernmental organizations hasstarted serving free lunch to childrenand youth at several community siteson Oʻahu during the current publicschool closure.

The Hawaii State Department ofEducation (HIDOE) is implementingthe Seamless Summer Optionprogram a few months earlier thanscheduled to provide breakfast andlunch free of charge to children 18years or younger, regardless ofeligibility for free or reduced pricemeals. Grab-and-go pickup locationsand hours available here.

For families in Kalihi—keiki can pickup free lunch every day this weekfrom 11:30am to 12:30pm at KalihiValley Instructional Bike Exchange(KVIBE), located at 1638Kamehameha IV Road and PalamaSettlement, located at 810 NorthVineyard Blvd.

The YMCA of Honolulu is alsooffering free grab-and-go meals at anumber of locations listed here.
