1. To help overseas Filipino Workers access the VaxCertPH, the government has partnered with SM Malls to help them acquire vaccine certificates easier.

- VaxCertPH is the official document of the vaccination status of a person vaccinated in the Philippines. It can be generated by going to the VaxCertPH website: https://vaxcert.doh.gov.ph, through LGUs, and in the coming months, even through SM Malls.

2. Dagdag na proteksyon ang bakuna laban sa COVID-19, take it when it’s your turn.

- Para sa mga HCW, senior citizens, at may comorbidities: magpalista at magpaturok ng bakuna. Makipag-ugnayan sa inyong LGU tungkol sa proseso ng pagpapalista. Sa panahon na ikaw ay tatanggap na nang bakuna o nasa vaccination site, isagawa ang B.I.D.A solusyon.

New COVID-19 Vaccine Policies

Highlights:● Priority Group A3 is expanded to include pregnant women. Women in their 2nd and 3rd

trimester are actively recommended to get vaccinated while those in their 1st trimester are only recommended when they are at high risk for contracting COVID-19 and upon showing a medical clearance from their attending physician.

● Other comorbidities otherwise not specified in Department Memorandum No. 2021-0175 may be included provided there are no limitations in supply.

● Additional Household strategy shall be implemented for those providing care, are in constant close contact with, and/or living in the same household with priority groups A2 and limited A3.

Highlights:● To ramp up the vaccination of Senior Citizens and Selected Individuals with

Co-morbidities, one companion of Priority Group A2 and Selected A3 may be vaccinated. Selected A3 shall include immunocompromised individuals with autoimmune disease, HIV, cancer/malignancy, transplant patients, undergoing steroid treatment, and patients with poor prognosis/bed-ridden patients.

RESBAKUNA Champions

About 50 Person Deprived of Liberty (PDL) have now been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in the Tacloban City Jail Female Dormitory through the Tacloban Mobile RESBAKUNA campaign.

Through this initiative vulnerable members of the population unable to access vaccination sites are given access to COVID-19 vaccines.
