CONTRADA FEAST AND PALIO REMIERO This year there will be the fifteenth edition of the Palio Remiero delle Contrade of Cavallino‐Treporti and it is planned for Sunday 15th June.  The challenge recalls the competition among the greengrocers of Sant’Erasmo, Vignole and Cavallino, that every morning went with their boats to Rialto market in order to sell the products of their lands, creating genuine challenges in order to arrive first and take the better places. An event where sport and tradition blend and where the lagoon becomes a setting of an unique and wonderful show both for the citizens and for the many tourists that are in our coasts during summer. The week‐end before, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June, there will be the Contrada of Ca’ Pasquali and  Ca’ Vio with great evening party at the ex Keller. 

WHITSUN CONCERT Sunday 8th June the polyphonic choir Ars Nova, directed by the Master Marco Paladin, will perform at  the Church of the Resort the Whitsun Concert “Hallelu‐Yah”. Start at 9.00 pm!

ON DISCOVERY TOUR BY THE SEGWAY Every Thursday A different relaxing and funny way to discover Cavallino‐Treporti! It is an unique and original experience for having a tour across our coastal area, on board of the friendly and flexible Segway. It’s an amusing, electric vehicle on two wheels for one person. The Segway is a kind of intelligent scooter, silent and ecological and doesn’t have any effect regarding the environmental pollution. We offer sightseeing tour which provides a touristic round trip on two wheels. The tour will be of about one hour and twenty minutes and costs 29,00 € per person. The minimum age for driving theSegway is 14 years, in case that the children won’t be accompanied by their parents. The excursion starts from the campsite Union Lido and you sign up at the Information Office in the pedestrian area.

  Most probably  you will want  to  visit Venice. We would  advise  to wear    suitable  clothing especially for visiting churches and museums. Venice will be grateful for your visit and will be happy to invite you again. There is always a lot to discover in Venice. Time there has come to a  standstill  and  this makes  the  city magnificently  different  from  all  the  others.  Venice  is unique in itself. If you decide to visit Venice by yourself, you can use the excellent bus‐boat public service.  From  19.05  to  20.09    there will  be  also  a  special  ATVO  bus    from  Union  Lido  to  Punta Sabbioni and back, every day except Sundays and festivities.

UNION LIDO‐CAVALLINO MARKET:  Until 16.09 on Tuesdays every 20 minutes.  Bus  stop  outside  the  resort,  next  to  the  Conference Hall  from  8.00  am  to  about 13.00 am  URBAN  LINES: ATVO  stop  to  Jesolo  on  the  right  side  of  the  street  and  to  Punta Sabbioni in front of Union Lido, every day every 30 minutes.   You cannot buy tickets on the bus. You can purchase them at the Information Office and in the Art & Park Hotel.

 The  use  of    bikes  or  electric  city  rollers  is  only  allowed    to  guests who  are staying  in  remote  parts  of  the  campsite.  In  any  case,  it  is  only  allowed  for coming in and going out, using exclusively Via Bologna, Via Verona, Via Torino and Via Cavallino. We ask you to take great care using mono‐skateboards for the safety of everybody. 

FOOTBALL SCHOOL UNION LIDO  Starting from Whitsun, all children between the age of 6 and 11, whether they are experts or novices, will have the possibility to play football, under the watchful eyes of a coach with experience at a professional level.
