AFL Gala Day

On the 21 March Stage 2 and the Year 5 students from 2/3 L had an AFL Gala Day. There were many teams like Magpies, Power, Storm and Devils. Some people bought a snack pack that had a muesli bar and a popper. We played a game like AFL but modified. Stage 2 and their Year 5 Leaders had lots of fun doing it. All of the teams had at least one win. We got to play in the park too! Thank you teachers! By Zoe and Leyton 2/3 L

STAGE 3 EXCURSION TO BERRY… notes returned this week please. Any stage three student that wishes to attend the excursion to Berry in November needs to return the expression of interest note by the end of Week 11 Term 1 otherwise they will not be able to attend. Many thanks, Sarah Davis.

Our Day at Soccer…. Last Monday, the girls and the boys soccer teams, went down to Gundary, to play two soccer matches against Narooma. First the girls soccer team had to warm up (the girls were playing first). Then the girls team went on to do the toss. Narooma won the toss. Narooma were a good team, but Chloe had al-

ready scored one goal in the first half. In the send half, Chloe scored two goals and Piccola scored 1 goal in the end Moruya won 4-0. All the girls played amazing and worked together awesome. When the boys ran on the field to start the game we did the coin toss (we won) in the first half Ryan scored 3 goals and Bluey scored 1. In the second half Ryan scored 2 goals and Bluey scored 1, in the end we won 7-2. The boys played fantastically and worked together well. By Piccola and Bluey

Regional Trials for Soccer Piccola, Chloe, Bianca, Ryan, Bluey, Billy and Leo all went to Shoalhaven on Thursday for the Regional trials. They all had a great time and Bianca got into the possible and probables. They all had a great time and enjoyed themselves. By Piccola
