Maths Stars
This term Kindergarten will begin using our Maths Stars program booklets. This program focuses on the fundamental number skills students need to attain in order to solve mathematical problems. Students will work through one colour each year at school with each colour containing 4 levels, identified by the shapes; circle, rectangle, square and triangle.
Kindergarten students begin on the red level and work through one set of skills each term.
Your term 4 learning from home pack includes this booklet for your child to use and practise their skills.
Please complete 1 or 2 pages per week and return to school when on site learning resumes.

ThursdayListening- Sound Hunt
Learning Intention: To carefully listen and identify sounds in the environment.
Task:● Sit outside or stay inside your home. ● Choose an area where there are lots of
noises. ● What sounds can you hear?● Draw a picture of all the things that are
making the sounds. ● Describe each sound to a partner. Is it loud
or soft? High pitch or low pitch? Is it a short sound or long sound?

Success Criteria: I can find objects that are made from glass, fabric, plastic, metal and wood.
Our Science unit this term is called 'What's It Made Of?' We will be learning all about what objects are made of and how they are made.
