MISSION MINISTRY

Greetings from El Salvador, the country of the "hammocks" (known because many trembles of the Earth), hope to God this time you are all blessed

As always each month brings his own experiences in the work of the Lord. We have had joys and sorrows, but in the end we managed to overcome everything and we have found strength and security in the Lord.

SATURDAY, MAY 5. FELLOWSHIP OF WOMEN IN SANTO TOMAS

Santo Tomás is a municipality located in the southern part of the Department of San Salvador, El Salvador. According to the Census of population and housing in 2007, it has 25.344 inhabitants.

Unfortunately on Saturday when I was in Santo Tomas accompanying the group of women from Las Colinas we were reported that brother Jose had died. We immediately began to make preparations to have it in the Church.

This day Gloria was instructing women that attended from different places in the Fifth fraternity of Christian women. The theme was: "The responsibility of the women Christian in the Church" this day at the end of the Fellowship in Santo Tomas would have the meeting of growth in the volcano at home of the sister Vilma Luna but brother José Antonio Ramírez, resident in the volcano, was carried in emergency to the Hospital on Friday and we adjourned the meeting hoping that everything went well.

This Saturday we started at 9:00 pm the service of solidarity and hope by Brother José Ramírez. We had three services throughout the night and early in the morning. Several brothers, family and friends accompany the Ramirez family.

SATURDAY 9:00 P.M.: SERVICE OF SOLIDARITY AND HOPE FOR THE DEATH OF BROTHER JOSÉ RAMÍREZ.

SUNDAY, MAY 6 SPECIAL SERVICE IN LAS COLINAS.

This day I should have traveled to "Agua Escondida" but due to the death of the brother I had to stay in Las Colinas to coordinate the worship service and burial. Having suspended the biblical and only class we had the worship service. We then proceeded to the burial, leaving the funeral car of the Church to the cemetery of Santa Tecla. We had a short reflection on death in the cemetery.

SATURDAY, MAY 12. “EL TRIUNFO”, LA LIBERTAD.

This day I travel with a group of brothers and sisters to "El Triunfo" where the Guzmán family. Specifically to the house of the sister Eusebia Guzmán. Our sister Eusebia is 96 years old and she has difficult to get out of his house. We were there about 25 brothers. We took atole of ear of green maize, prepared by the family and then by the afternoon meditated about the word of God. The brothers were very lively.

SISTERS: EUSEBIA GUZMÁN AND TOMASA TORRES (96 AND 97 YEARS OF AGE RESPECTIVELY, THE MORE YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE CHURCH).

SUNDAY, MAY 13. LAS COLINAS, SANTA TECLA.

This day we had our normal worship. We had a good attendance and afternoon continue with exposures in the class of preachers, having exposed the following brothers: Sandra Mejía, José Isaac Ortega, Nelson Mejía and Jorge Torres. Gloria was with the women’s class.

SATURDAY, MAY 19. GROWTH GROUP, HOUSE SISTER EMELINA DE PÉREZ.

Again we had our meeting at home of the sister, Emelina Pérez. The group is very enthusiastic and interested in the study of the word of God. We talking about issues of implementation practice and that the church is going through at the moment so we hear opinions of how can solve or improve

SUNDAY, MAY 20. NAHUIZALCO, SONSONATE.

We traveled to the town of Nahuizalco in Sonsonate. We had a good attendance in worship both the biblical class. Brother Calazin was present and was recovering, however it seems the surgery has not given good results of the vesicle in the past months, we will follow up to see further.

SUNDAY, MAY 27. LAS COLINAS, SANTA TECLA.

We were again collaborating in teaching and preaching in Las Colinas. After the preaching we had two brothers who reconciled with the Lord, the brothers were Gerardo Almendarez and Angela Perez. We pray for them so the Lord strengthens them of moving forward despite the difficulties.

SUNDAY, MAY 27. LAS COLINAS, SANTA TECLA.

In the afternoon we continued with exposures of the brothers and sisters outstanding, although on this occasion were three young sisters: Priscilla Rodriguez, Rebecca Zaldaña and Marisela Tobar. Gloria traveled with the women towards the volcano where the sister Vilma Luna, where they received the class and had a time of leisure and meditation.

ACTIVITIES DURING THE WEEK.

I continue forming part of the group of teachers of the Bible School of San Salvador. And in Las Colinas I'm teaching the book of Romans.

Before saying goodbye I would ask prayers for the family Ramirez Satan will not win advantage in these times of sadness for the loss of a loved one. We are encouraging and strengthening them. Also for Brother Gerardo Almedarez and Angela Pérez so God may bless and strengthen their faith.
