RESOLUTION 1 – SIZE OF CHURCH BOARD

Whereas, the scriptures teach that there is safety in the multitude of

counselors, Proverbs 11:14, and Whereas, our current Constitution set the number of Deacons to a

minimum of three and maximum of seven, and Whereas, the current church leadership believes in preparing in

advance for future growth Be it Resolved that Article VII – Church Board/Deacons, Section B.

Composition, Paragraph 1a. Personal which reads, “The church Board shall be composed of the Senior Pastor and a minimum of three or an odd number up to a maximum of seven Deacons” be amended to read:

“The church Board shall be composed of the Senior Pastor and a minimum of three up to a maximum of nine Deacons.
