Our professional and dedicated staff, led by our onsite wedding specialist, can handle all of the details, large or small, from linens and décor to a personalized dinner menu and more. Located in Northeastern Pennsylvania near the scenic Pocono Mountains, we’ve been creating customized weddings and events for more than 50 years. The Features of a Woodlands Wedding Package We want your day to be everything you’ve wished for. Our customized wedding packages have been designed to assist you with each important element of your special day. We can also create a customized or themed package or upgrade an existing package to meet your wishes. We provide all of the little extras to make planning as easy as possible. We can accommodate 400+ in our ballroom area and 350+ in our outdoor areas.

COCKTAIL HOURA one-hour open bar cocktail reception with choice of five assorted hors d’oeuvres. If weather permits, you can choose to have your cocktail hour in our Bridal Gardens or Streamside Lounge & Deck, both overlooking the lovely Laurel Run stream.

OPEN BARCocktail hour bar service will be followed by four more continuous hours of open bar featuring standard brands of liquor, two domestic bottled beers, a variety of wines and soft drinks. Upgrades are available.

DINNEROur talented culinary team will create an exquisite three or four-course meal based on your package choice. You may offer guests up to three entrée selections when you send out your invitations. Selections at each table must be supplied to us in advance. Children’s, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free meals are also available.

CHAMPAGNE TOASTA sparkling toast to the happy couple is included in all packages.

WEDDING CAKEA wedding cake may be included in your package at a cost of $5 per person. Your choice of flavors or you can opt to upgrade to a more expensive cake and be billed the difference. Cake presentation, cutting and service are included.

DÉCORCrisp white or colored linens and napkins are available to coordinate with your wedding party. Enhancements that are available for an additional price include: chiavari chairs, floor length linens, chair covers and sashes, and room décor; such as special lighting, canopy and ballroom draping or an ice sculpture.

CEREMONY

If weather permits, couples who prefer an outdoor ceremony will have the option of using our picturesque wedding bridal gardens. Of course, the ballroom would be held as a backup in case of inclement weather. The ceremony package includes indoor or outdoor rental, set up, décor, music for procession and sound system. Speak to a Woodlands wedding specialist for a cost breakdown.

ACCOMMODATIONSComplimentary overnight accommodations in a bridal suite will be provided for the bride and groom on the evening of their reception for weddings with one hundred guests or more. Special room rates are available for overnight guests when rooms are booked in advance. Your overnight guests will enjoy all of the amenities of The Woodlands Experience, including our indoor and outdoor pools, and fitness centers, several restaurants and lounges and an outdoor bar and deck.

Personalized hotel information cards with directions will be provided to you to distribute with your invitations. Please give us at least a one week notice to prepare these cards.

ADDITIONAL AMENITIESOur ballroom and other event spaces are also available for your bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, or post nuptial breakfast or farewell brunch at a discounted rate.

DEPOSIT, PAYMENT & SERVICE CHARGEYour wedding is a cherished occasion and our intimate venue offers an elegant setting and dedicated staff to make it a memorable event. A non-refundable, non-transferable $1,000 deposit is required to secure a date. An additional $2,000 deposit will be required one year prior to date. Should a confirmed reservation be canceled, the deposit will be returned only if the space held is resold with a comparable event. Preliminary counts are due ten days prior to the event. Final count and payment are due three business days prior. Deposits and final payment are accepted by cash or check only, no credit cards will be accepted as a form of payment. Special pricing is available for receptions booked in January, February or March and for those considering a Friday night, Saturday afternoon or Sunday wedding. A minimum guest count of 125 people is required for a Saturday night wedding during peak season. All prices are subject to proportionate increases to meet increased costs.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Woodlands and I cannot accurately put into words how amazing the entire staff truly is. We started working with our wedding specialist, Gail, a year prior. She was absolutely wonderful and very responsive from our very first meeting. We worked closely with her to customize cocktail selections, hors d’oeuvres, dinner stations, as well as passed dessert options. She also put together our farewell brunch the morning after our wedding. She knew exactly what sides would pair best with our entrees and where to place each station to keep our guests flowing throughout the ballroom. We were all served very promptly and never felt like we lost time from our reception to dinner. Dessert was exceptional. From popsicles in Prosecco, to specialty ice creams, cheesecakes, and passed cordials, we never had to leave the dance floor to enjoy dessert. Planning a wedding for over 300 guests never felt intimidating with the help of Gail. The entire staff at The Woodlands truly went above and beyond to make our wedding more than we could have ever imagined! I cannot recommend The Woodlands enough. They will work tirelessly to make sure your event is unique to you. Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives thanks to the staff at The Woodlands!
