Parklands Country Gardens & Lodges

Parklands Country Garden & Lodges is a secluded retreat within 28 acres of manicured grounds, reminiscent of a European great estate. The retreat features accommodation rooms with a Hampton-like feel decorated in soft furnishings, set on expansive grounds with a sparkling private lake and picturesque views of the manicured gardens and sweeping bush land – the perfect backdrop to capture stunning photographs of your special day. Parklands is the ideal wedding venue for receptions up to 70 guests.

Karawerra Courtyard Perfect for an elegant outdoor ceremony our Karawerra Courtyard descends from the main house of the retreat and caters for up to 70 people. The Karawerra Courtyard features a water fountain, manicured garden surrounds and views overlooking trees, the private lake and sweeping grounds.

LakesideSituated at the bottom end of the Retreat and within the surrounds of the kitchen garden with its manicured rose gardens and orchards, the private lake with its own jetty is the ideal venue for a personal ceremony catering for up to 70 guests.

Karawerra Room

Named after the original homestead of the grounds founded in 1880, the Karawerra Rooms is at 85 square metres with a ceiling height of 2.7 metres. The function room is located on the ground floor and enjoys an abundance of natural light and features floor to ceiling windows and French doors, which lead out to an enclosed glass gazebo and outdoor courtyard area with a water fountain. Ideal for wedding celebrations up to 70 guests.

Grand Marquee

Elegantly appointed beside established oak tree-lined garden adjacent to a picturesque lake, the Grand Marquee provides a unique wedding space for up to 150 guests. The traditional French-designed white marquee allows various seating arrangements and with stunning glass side walls to enjoy the region’s beautiful countryside. Guests of a wedding held here will be truly romanced by a country full of stars come nightfall.

FAQs

What time may I have my reception from? Your reception room hire begins once your Pre-Dinner Drinks have commenced.The length of time you are in the reception room is determined by the room hire included in your wedding package. Should you wish to extend the room hire, charges apply and it is required to be pre-arranged. Additional charges for DJ extension and beverages also apply. Please note curfews do apply at some venues due to proximity to accommodation.

FAQs

I have booked an outdoor ceremony – what happens if the weather is not suitable?Should the weather be deemed not suitable an undercover space will be used for your ceremony. The option will vary depending on availability but will be discussed with your wedding coordinator prior to your wedding date. Please note the decision will be made at the hotel’s discretion.

Is there a curfew on any of the reception rooms? Please note curfews do apply at some venues due to the proximity to accommodation, please discuss with your wedding coordinator to confirm exact reception finish times.

What time can I set up from? Please note access times are not able to be confirmed until one week prior to the reception.


We wish to go ahead with our booking - what do we do next? Once you advise that you wish to confirm your wedding with us, your wedding coordinator will send you a custom contract. A signed copy of this along with a 50% deposit of your estimated total is due within 5 working days to confirm your booking..
