Shirli and her abba
Shirli and Oron’s father, David
Michelle’s mom dancing solo, surrounded by her grandchildren
(I am standing in the background – I figured if I got down on my knees like everyone else my attempts to get up again
would be less than dignified)!
Shoval and Shirli on the dance floor
Shahar and Shirli
Shoval and Oron’s sister Shahar
Shahar and girlfriend Kim
Issy and Taryn
Nadine and I (Bev and Issy are to the left)
Michelle and our nephew Adam from Toronto (who is an absolute sweetheart)
As you see, Shahar loves to party…
Shirli’s worst nightmare … bouncing the bride and groom on their chairs
Dancing to “YMCA” – for some strange reason, this song is a “must have” for weddings in Israel
Me and my very inebriated nephew from Toronto, who then proceeded to propose marriage … had I been a
woman and 102 years younger, I might have accepted! (To the left is his mother, Michelle’s sister Marsha)
Some of Shahar’s friends (who invariably leave us with an empty refrigerator!)
The hairstylist/make-up artist hard at work in the kitchen
Shahar’s utter disbelief at what is involved in making up the bride!
Me, fretting that we were running late…
Ready to leave … finally!
Shahar’s girlfriend, Kim, waxing his back in the kitchen…
Just though you might want to see the front of our house
This is our very dear friend David (with his wife Ra’aya) whom I have mentioned – he’s our “problem child” who always gets lost on tiyul, and we plan at least 15% of our time to looking for him … but we
love him anyway!
