wedding brochure
Youre engaged!
This is such an exciting time. One to enjoy while you make
plans to marry your best friend.
I have been married for a few years now but still remember
planning my wedding. There were so many decisions, it
was sometimes a bit stressful, but it was a lot of fun! There
are photos from our wedding day in frames around our
house and I love having that daily reminder. I might not
really look at the photos that often, but the times I do are
just wonderful. I ’m instantly transported back to that day
and without even realising it I find myself smiling. This is the
power of a photograph.
My passion is creative and natural photography that
captures the emotions of the moment. From the smallest
detail to the most beautiful portrait I take photos that
reflect your day. During the day, while you are enjoying
time with your best friends in the morning and guests
during the day I take the time to capture all those
in-between moments without ever trying to manipulate
them. For most of the day I will unobtrusively photograph
the events as they happen. All you need to do is get on
with celebrating.
I want to give you a wonderful record of your wedding day
so you too have those reminders for years to come.
You are looking forward to a wedding day that is all about the two of you and the people who mean
the most to you.
Your wedding might take place in a stunning country house or a quirky barn. You may be planning
a relaxed garden party affair or an elegant city wedding. Maybe it ’s an intimate celebration with
your closest loved ones, or it might be a big old party in a field with tipis and camping. Whatever it
is, you will be surrounded by your favourite people in the world. Your wedding will be as wonderfully
unique and individual as you are.
You’re probably aiming for a relaxed and beautiful day filled with fabulous celebrations. You are
looking forward to eating delicious food, laughing with your loved ones and dancing like no one is
watching. You want your wedding day to reflect the two of you and you want your photography to
show that.
You love the idea of storytelling photography that captures the day as it happens. You want a
handful of family photos but don’t want to spend hours having formal group shots. You would love
some gorgeous, natural photos of the two of you. Photos that will mean so much in years to come
and photos you want to be able to look at over and over again.
You really value having a beautiful and natural photographic record of your wedding day. Photos
that not only bring back memories of what your wedding looked like, but also what you felt at that
moment. Photos that will be a real reflection of the day you planned.
About you
“I loved working with Fiona. She is so personable and a treat to
work with on a day that can be quite hectic. She is easy going
and laid back, while shooting amazing pictures.”
Photographing weddings really is a perfect fit for me. There isn’t much I love more and I never tire
of the joy it brings. From the planning, to meeting new people, capturing the excitement of the
wedding day, through to the editing and providing a special experience for each couple. I truly
believe that there is wonder and beauty to be found in everything and everyone, and capturing the
important moments - no matter how big or small - is what brings a little magic to life. There are a
few things that are key to how I work, which I aim for at every wedding.
• I want to capture the two of you are in the most natural way possible. When I work with you it ’s
about capturing the ‘ real you’ as you are together. With maybe a little direction if you need it. I won’t
over pose or ask you to do things that don’t feel right. I love to tell stories through my photos and part
of that is your knowing your relationship. Getting to know the two of you before the day is a really
important part of this and allows me to capture honest, natural and relaxed images.
• Your ceremony is sacred. My aim is always to be as discrete as possible during the ceremony so I
can get the photos that matter without being a distraction to you or your guests. I find the good spot
to stand and wait for the little looks and moments to get that perfect shot.
• Family photos are important, but shouldnt take forever! With a bit of planning ahead and some
help from your ushers on the day we should be able to get these photos done in about 15 minutes.
I like to be organised but lighthearted so no one feels pushed around and its all part of the fun.
• The moments in between matter too. I love the candid shots during the day. They tell all the little
stories around the big moments. From the calm to the raucous and everything in between. I like
to watch, wait and see what ’s going to happen next. Capturing a real, natural reaction and pure
emotion is a total joy.
• Knowing when to step back and when to get involved. I like to balance how involved I am
during the day. If something needs moving because it looks wrong, Ill move it. Ill happily chat to your
guests, which helps them relax around me. There are also many times when I will be very unobtrusive
and you wont even know Im there. These can be the best moments, when everyone is completely
natural and comfortable with what is going on.
• Love the light! I love, love, love beautiful evening light. If I get the hint of a sunset I’ll be
whisking you outside to enjoy a wander together in the balmy evening air and make the most of the
gorgeous soft sunlight.
My approach to your day...
“We wanted to send a huge thank you for the wonderful
work you did and beautiful photos we have. You
captured the day perfectly, we can’t imagine it being
done better. It was such a pleasure to have you as our
photographer. Many thanks for all your hard work.”
My photos make you smile. It ’s so important that you choose a pho-
tographer who’s style really fits with your ideas for your wedding day.
Your photos are your one reminder of the day and if you think that
the way I take photos is the way you want to have your day captured,
then that ’s a great start.
You think we will get on and are happy to have me at your wedding.
This is a big thing when it comes to booking your wedding photogra-
pher. We will spend a lot of time together on the day and it ’s impor-
tant that you feel comfortable with having me around. Many of my
couples say that it was like having another friend at the wedding,
which is the biggest complement.
The full experience, not just the day. From the moment you book until
I deliver the images or album I want you to feel happy that you have
chosen me to be your photographer. The experience is everything. My
background is Graphic Design and Art Direction, which has massively
influenced my photographic style and given me the I love of design,
beautiful paper and gorgeous packaging. I enjoy paying as much
attention to the way you receive your photos as I do to the photos
themselves. I like to make sure you feel special, which means I’m
always on hand to answer questions, pass on recommendations or
just have a natter about an idea you have had. I care about the two
of you, your wedding and all the details you have taken the time to
plan and create. For the last two years I have been a Regional Finalist
for the London & South East Photographer of the Year at the Wedding
Industry Awards. These aren’t just any old awards as the results are all
down to the votes and comments of the people who’s weddings I
have actually photographed.
Your wedding is unique and that matters. I run every aspect of my
business myself so your wedding is very personal to me. Couples book
me because I’m friendly, down to earth and take the time to find out
the things that are important to you. By getting to know you, I get to
know what you want, what you like and on the day can translate this
into photos that really capture your unique day. There is a fair bit of
planning before the day, with meet ups, schedules and lots of time to
chat. This way on the day you can relax and just have a fun old time,
knowing that I have it in hand.
Every image is individually and carefully edited. Nothing goes out until
I have made sure that I am 100% happy with it. You can relax knowing
that every one of the final images in your wedding collection has
been individually worked on to create a consistent feel to the full set.
You will receive a collection of natural, beautiful and modern images
that tell the story of your wedding. I don’t use gimmicks to make my
photos stand out. My passion is to create beautiful photos that you will
just love.
Peace of mind. There are some things you might not think about and
some things you definitely don’t want to worry about when it comes
to your photography. You can be sure that I always have back up
cameras, a wide array of lenses, more than enough memory cards
and lots of fully charged batteries. I back up your files multiple times
and keep the final processed jpgs on file for a minimum of 5 years.
For full peace of mind I am fully insured with both public liability and
professional indemnity, as well as having insurance for all my kit.
Bespoke album design. My background in Graphic Design means I
am more than confident in creating a bespoke album for you. I love
to design an album that tells the story of your wedding day in the way
you want to remember it. No two albums are the same and I design
yours from start to finish.
Finally, but most importantly. I’m there to capture your day as it hap-
pens, not to get in the way and be a distraction. A lot of the time you
might forget I’m there, but I’m happy to take control when its needed
and will ensure any group photos you want are done efficiently and
smoothly. I love to whisk you away from the hustle and bustle for a
little while so you can have a few moments together and we can
have a great time creating some amazing photos of the two of you.
I’m friendly, easy going and always stay calm and relaxed no matter
what happens on the day.

“Fiona’s ability to take natural shots that capture the
moment separates her from the crowd. She has
exceptional vision and a knack for being in the right
place at the right time. Fiona’s clearly a professional
in her field, but she’s also so warm and kind that it
makes us happy that she got to share our special
day with us.”
Engagement shoots
Most people go through life without ever having professional photos taken. So when it comes to
planning your wedding it ’s normally the first time you will be in front of a camera for a prolonged
period of time, and for many that can be daunting. Not fully knowing what to expect can bring
thoughts of being made to do cheesy poses or feeling silly and uncomfortable. I can put your mind
at ease now and say this won’t happen with me! You may love the idea of an engagement shoot
or you may think that the idea of spending yet more time in front of a camera is like torture. Either
way, there are great benefits to having an engagement photo shoot.
I can promise you now that I don’t do cheesy poses! I can also promise that once the shoot gets
going you will relax, laugh, have fun and ultimately end up enjoying the experience. I will ask one or
two questions to get you chatting. I might ask you to have a hug or go for a wander hand in hand.
Nothing too full on or scary. I want to capture natural photos that reflect the two of you. We can
choose a location that you love or that has some sort of meaning, or it can simply be somewhere
that offers great spots for photos. It ’s an opportunity for me to get to know you as a couple and for
you to see how I work. There is no pressure at all and it ’s a great way to get used to being in front of
the camera, especially if you’re a little camera shy.
Engagement shoots last approximately 2 hours and you will received the edited high res
images from the session. There may be travel costs added, depening on the location chosen
(all costs covered within the M25).
Normal session fee £450, reduced to £250 if added to a wedding photography package
Bring your photos to life.
Do you remember being a kid and finding that box of old family photos or your parents wedding
album? Remember the emotions you felt seeing them? The memories that can be shared and
passed on through generations. The photos that make you laugh, make you smile and bring a real
connection to the people you love. How wonderful is it to sit and look at the hair styles and outfits
that are massively of the era, of relatives when they were small children in cute outfits, and of great
aunts that are no longer around. When you’re planning your wedding, you’re sure you’ll never forget
every detail and whilst you’ll always remember the heightened emotions of the day, the photo-
graphs are the only tangible evidence to treasure of one of the happiest and most fun days of your
lives.
This is why photos mean so much and why creating an album of the photos that mean the most to
you is something you will never regret doing.
There is a beauty and realness to a photograph that is printed. Displayed in your home a simple
print becomes a point of interest, something that is always there and can be viewed every time you
wander past it. Its a permanent reminder that can’t fade. Similarly a printed album becomes part
of your family history, something to share and look at whenever the mood takes you. You may only
look at it a handful of times, but there is something so special about turning those pages and having
those memories flood back.
Each album is personally design to tell the story of your wedding day perfectly. Don’t feel you have
to make your decision about an album when you are booking your photography package. You can
come back to me at any time before or after your wedding, there are no time restrictions. If you
would like to you can also add duplicate albums, which make a perfect gift for parents. Albums
come in a range of size and two different styles.
Album prices start at £325. Full details of options, sizes and prices can be sent on request.
Ask to see my product brochure.
How many photos do we get?
There is no set number of images but you will get all the fabulous ones
from the day. You can, on average, expect roughly 600-800 from a
full days wedding coverage and about 100 or so from an engage-
ment shoot. All of these come with a full personal print licence in both
high and low resolution, ready for printing or sharing online.
How soon after the wedding do we get our images?
Your photos will be ready approximately 8-10 weeks after your wed-
ding day (often sooner). Your online gallery will be set up first and the
link and password sent to you so you can start sharing the gallery. The
gallery has a secure shopping facility so prints can be purchased
through it. I will then post your USB to within a week. If you have an
album or prints as part of your package we will have a chat about
these once you have received all your images. As a general rule I do
all album designs in the Winter months when things have quietened
down and I can focus on them fully.
Can we meet before we book?
Of course. You can come to me or we can meet somewhere in
London for a coffee and chat. Ill bring some albums for you to look at
and we can run through all the details of your day. If you aren’t able
to get to London we can arrange a Skype or Facetime chat.
Are you insured?
Yes, as a professional photographer I have public liability and
professional indemnity insurance, as well as insurance for all my kit.
Do you take group shots?
Absolutely. People do tend to tire of lots of these and they will eat
up the time. With this in mind I like to keep this part of the day short,
fun and informal so you can spend lots of time with your family and
friends. I recommend 10 set ups, which will take about 20 minutes.
What areas do you cover? Do you travel?
I am based in London so cover the whole of the South East and am
more than happy to travel anywhere in the UK and Ireland.
Do we need to provide food on the wedding day?
Yes please. Photographing a wedding is a long day so having a hot
meal provided for me and my second photographer (if I have one on
the day) is appreciated.
We aren’t really comfortable in front of the camera and don’t want to
feel like we are being posed!
This is completely fine, and more common than you probably think! I
don’t like fake reactions in photos and overly posed shots either. How
I work is to just be there, to watch and to anticipate those moments
that you actually want to see in your photographs. I have learned how
to observe people and to capture the reactions that are really going
to make you smile when you see the photos after. There will be times
when you won’t even notice that I am taking your photo. I might do a
small bit of directing but it will be very relaxed, the aim being for you
to react naturally, be comfortable and have fun! After all, it is your
wedding day and you want to enjoy your time, not end up feeling
stressed about the photos.
We would love to book you, what do we do now?
If you are ready to book, and we have checked dates to make sure
I am available, I will send you my booking form and contract. This is
an online form, which will be emailed through to you. I also require a
retainer of 25% to confirm the booking. Once we have these sorted
I’m all yours!
Can we meet again before the wedding?
Definitely! I find it really helpful to meet with you about a month or
two before the wedding to run through the final plans for the day and
confirm timings. We can chat through any group shots you would like
at this time too. I also send a final information form before we meet,
so you can make a note of all the timings and any other important
info I need to know.
