An enchanting vintage setting...Set in a picturesque village of Cheshire, The Bowdon Rooms is a charming building that offers an abundance of authentic character and beautiful features. More than 100 years old, the property’s Edwardian decadence will offer you and your guests a superior environment.Amidst the candelabras and floral opulence, you can relax and dine in our glorious ballroom, with its stunning chandeliers suspended from a 40-foot domed ceiling, against a backdrop of romantically-lit voiles.

The main ballroom seats up to 230 guests, while our more intimate Lounge upstairs can accommodate up to 90 guests. The venue is also complete with a fully-integrated PA and lighting system; is fully licensed, and offers disabled access.

Formerly from the world of IT consultancy, Neil was so taken with the period charm of The Bowdon Rooms that he decided to lovingly restore it, and inject masses of character back into its foundations. This old Edwardian property has since been transformed into an impressive wedding venue; and for more than a decade has been creating spectacular events - delivered with the personal touch for which the venue is renowned.

For over nine years, Karen has been an integral part of The Bowdon Rooms’ hospitality. With her expertise and personable approach, Karen has a flair for connecting with the client’s needs and interpreting their desires. Always striving to exceed expectations.

Suzanne brings a wealth of experience to the group, with a background in leisure and hospitality. Friendly and knowledgeable, Suzanne has a great professional attitude and, alongside Karen, has helped create some of the most beautiful and innovative wedding concepts.
