HOMEBOUND MINISTRY
Homebound Ministry is available to all
members of our parishes that are unable to
go to Mass due to illness or disability.
If you know of anyone, needing & wishing to be visited,
please call Fr Mike at 715-866-7321, OR send an
email to: [email protected].
Everyday Evangelizing
Evangelize yourself by reading Church teachings and documents of Vatican II. These can be found in any Catholic book store—or on FORMED.
!
Stewardship is a lifestyle, it’s not a program or a process.
It’s how we are called to live our lives twenty-four hours a
day, seven days a week! It challenges us to live “God-
centered” lives, not “self-centered” lives. Let’s reflect on our
daily activities. Are they done for the glory of God or for the
glory of our own name? We know that John the Baptist was
ALL ABOUT proclaiming—or making a way—for the Messiah—
FOR Jesus!

SCRIPTURE VERSE
When the time arrived for Elizabeth to
have her child she gave birth to a son.
When they came on the eighth day to
circumcise the child, they were going
to call him Zechariah after his father,
but his mother said in reply,
"No. He will be called John." - Lk 1:57, 59-60

Social Justice Ministry
Mission Statement To nourish and promote peace and justice for all.
This month we continue to explore the second theme of
Catholic Social Teaching:
Call to Family, Community and Participation:
The Gospel readings began with Mark’s description of the
night our celebration of the Eucharist was first enacted (Mark
14:12-16, 22-26) where Jesus sat with his disciples at dinner,
broke bread, and offered wine as his own body and blood. As
the Community of Christ, we continue to participate together,
in this blessed of sacraments today.
On the second Sunday, Mark 3:20-25, we stand with Christ
as family so long as we are going about doing the will of God.
The third Sunday will be Mark 4:26-34 where even faith as
small as a mustard seed can grow plentiful especially as we
model our own strong faith to our families.
Lastly on the 24th, the final Sunday of June, we will be
learning from Luke 1:57-66, 80 which tells the beautiful
story of Elizabeth and Zechariah and the early days of their
sweet child, John.
May we all be as dutiful to God in raising our children
strong, modeling our faith, and the great unconditional love of
our Heavenly Father.
