Troop Meetings

► Troop General Meetings Weekly on Tuesdays 7:30 – 9pm at New Hope Lutheran Church

Camping in Boy Scouts – It is different than Cub Scout Camping!than Cub Scout Camping!

►Travel as a Group to and from campout location typically in personal vehicles

►Two deep leadership at all times►Two-deep leadership at all times

►Troop owns and provides all the non-personal camping gear (trailer, tents, stoves, lanterns, tables, coolers, gear boxes, tools, shelters, etc)

►Scouts bring their own personal gear (sleeping bag, mess kit, water bottle, toiletries, clothes, sunblock, etc)

General Prohibitions

► Guide to Safe Scouting outlines prohibited activities:For example, paint ball, four wheelers, handguns, propane equipment in tentsequipment in tents.

► Electronic games and phones generally are OK while traveling, but must be left in the vehicles
