PTST Car WashWe did awesome at last Friday’s car wash! We raised $742.10! Thank you to everyone that helped out, especially Mr. & Mrs. McCabe, Mrs. Carter, Mr. Braff, Ms. Curiale, Ms. Monateri, Ms. Hollingsworth-Pennington, and Mr. Carballo. Thank you for bringing your car to get washed and spreading the word to friends and family. We look forward to our spring car wash!

After School MoviePlease refer to the flyer / form sent home a couple weeks ago (contact the office if you need one) if you’d like to sign-up your child for the October 6th

After School Movie – Disney’s Hocus Pocus. There is a $3.00 charge for students to participate. Students need to be picked-up promptly at 5:00pm.

PTST MeetingOur next PTST Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 13th at 3:00pm in Mr. Cheraso’s office. Students are welcome to accompany parents /

guardians, but must remain in Mr. Cheraso’s office.

Spirit WeekThe week of October 10th is Spirit Week! Students and staff may dress down each day in the following themes:Magical Monday: Dress up as your favorite character, superhero, movie or TV star.Rock Star Tuesday: Dress as your favorite music artist or sport your favorite band t-shirt. Wacky Wednesday: Crazy hair, miss-matched outfit.Pajama Thursday: Need I say more?Sports Friday: Sport your team’s jersey / shirt. *Jeans are okay each day. Attire must be appropriate (no skimpy clothing, offensive images or text).

Chick-fil-A NightPlan a family dinner night out on Thursday, October 13th at Chick-fil-A (9611 Mentor Ave, Mentor). Summit Academy will receive 15% of the proceeds. Don’t forget to mention Summit Academy when ordering! Encourage friends and family to participate as well – the fundraiser is actually ALL DAY!

Picture Day!Picture day is Thursday, October 20th. Student may dress up for picture day, which can include a nice shirt and jeans. Information on ordering is included in today’s take home information. Checks are to be made payable to “First Choice Photography.” You can order online at http://fcpphoto.hhimagehost.com.
