ABSTRACT (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left)

All manuscripts must be accompanied by an abstract. The abstract should briefly state the problem or purpose of the research, indicate the theoretical or experimental plan used, summarize the principal findings, and point out the major conclusions. Abstract length is one paragraph. Please provide an abstract of 150 to 250 words. The abstract should not contain any undefined abbreviations or unspecified references.

Keywords (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left)

Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of 6 keywords, using American spelling and avoiding general and plural terms and multiple concepts (avoid, for example, “and”, “of”). Be sparing with abbreviations: only abbreviations firmly established in the field may be eligible. These keywords will be used for indexing purposes. The format is shown as follows:

Keywords: Keyword a; Keywords b; Keywords c; Keywords d; Keywords e; Keywords f

Nomenclature (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left).

Follow internationally accepted rules and conventions: use the international system of units (SI). If other quantities are mentioned, give their equivalent in SI. You are urged to consult IUPAC: Nomenclature of Inorganic Chemistry for further information. The symbol should be listed one by one, order the alphabet from least to greatest as follows:

NomenclatureEa (kJ mol-1) apparent activation energy

1. Introduction (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 14, align left and right).

Text (Word Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left and right). Manuscripts should be submitted in Word. Use italics for emphasis. Use the automatic page numbering function to number the pages. Do not use field functions. Use tab stops or other commands for indents, not the space bar. Use the table function, not spreadsheets, to make tables. Use the equation editor or MathType for equations. Save your file in docx format (Word 2007 or higher) or doc format (older Word versions). This template as an example of a writing format is provided. Please use A4 size paper. Layout boundary: 2.54 cm left, 2.54 cm right, 2.54 cm lower, and 2.54 cm above.

2. Materials and methods (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 14, align left, bold).

2.1 Abbreviations (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left)

Abbreviations should be defined at first mention and used consistently thereafter.

2.2 Figures (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left)

Each figure must have a caption that includes the figure number and a brief description, preferably one or two sentences. The caption should follow the format “Figure 1. Figure caption.” All figures must be mentioned in the text consecutively and numbered with Arabic numerals. The caption should be understandable without reference to the text. Whenever possible, place the key to symbols in the artwork, not in the caption. To insert the figure into the template, be sure it is already sized appropriately and paste before the figure caption. To save valuable journal pages, try to bring plots to close together by deleting the upper common x-axis (piggyback) and treat them as Figure 1a and 1b, etc.

2.3 Tables (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left)

Tables. Each table must have a brief (one phrase or sentence) title that describes its contents. The title should follow the format “Table 1. Table Title”. The title should be understandable

2

Page 3:   · Web viewSave your file in docx format (Word 2007 or higher) or doc format (older Word versions). This template as an example of a writing format is provided. Please use A4 size

without reference to the text. Tables should not cover the same information found in figures and vice versa. The figures/tables are self-explanatory with captions informatively written to reflect the content of figures/tables.

2.4 Schemes (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left)

Schemes (Word Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left). Groups of reactions that show action are called schemes. Schemes may have brief titles describing their contents. The title should follow the format “Scheme 1. Scheme Title”. To insert the scheme into the template, be sure it is already sized appropriately and paste after the scheme title. For formatting double-column schemes, see the instructions at the end of the template. Do NOT modify the amount of space before and after the title as this allows for the rules, space above and below the rules, and space above and below the scheme to be inserted upon editing.

2.5 Numbers/significant figures (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left)

Be careful about use of significant figures. The reported numbers should consider the errors in sampling, extraction, preparation, determination, calculation, etc. Thus, removal efficiency should not carry any decimal points except for incineration and disinfection in which the log cycle or magnitude of order reduction should be used. Please use scientific notation, e.g., 2.5 x 10–3 h–1 (not 0.0025 h–1). Also, pH values cannot be averaged.

2.6 Section headings (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left)

Section headings should be left justified, bold, with the first letter capitalized and numbered consecutively, starting with the Introduction. Sub-section headings should be in capital and lower-case italic letters, numbered 1.1, 1.2, etc, and left justified, with second and subsequent lines indented. All headings should have a minimum of three text lines after them before a page or column break. Ensure the text area is not blank except for the last page.

3. Results and discuss (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 14, align left, bold)

3.1 Acronyms (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left)

It must be defined when they first appear. There is no need to define any acronyms when they will not reappear in the text. Also, simple elements/compounds need not be defined. Spell out the Genus name first and thereafter only use the initial. Italicize both Genus and species names.

3.2 Units (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left)

Please always use internationally accepted signs and symbols for units (SI units) with the expression of W m–2 K–1 in lieu of W/m2-K. Use lowercase k for rate constants and for prefix

3

k, e.g., kg (not Kg) and uppercase K for equilibrium constants. Try to take advantage of using prefix k, M, etc., e.g., 120 kPa pressure, 10 Mt NOx emission. Please use the standard mathematical notation for formulae, symbols etc.: Italic for single letters that denote mathematical constants, variables, and unknown quantities. Roman/upright for numerals, operators, and punctuation, and commonly defined functions or abbreviations, e.g., cos, det, e or exp, lim, log, max, min, sin, tan, d (for derivative). Bold for vectors, tensors, and matrices.

3.3 Syntax (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left)

Provide a blank space before the unit and between words. Use periods for decimal points.

3.4 Equations (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left)

Well-known equations such as 1st-order kinetics and contaminant removal efficiency [(Co-C)/Co x100%] should not be included in the text. With formula placed in the same line, the solidus format (a/b) should be used. When the equation is in a separate line, the stack format and not solidus one should be used, as shown in Eqs. 1 and 2.

A (α ) E a

βR ∫∞

All variables including Greek letters must be clearly defined with units of measurement provided. Make characters’ adequate subscript and superscript. Unless otherwise noted, the first-order rate constant is always based on the natural log.

4. Conclusion (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 14, align left, bold)

4.1 Citation (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left)Reference citations in the text should be identified by numbers in square brackets. Negotiation research spans many disciplines (Abdelaziz et al., 2015; Iskra and Droste, 2008). This result was later contradicted by Becker and Seligman (1980). 3. This effect has been widely studied (USEPA, 2013). 4. which are generated under intense UV radiation (Adam J.H., 1970a; Adam J.H., 1970b).

4.2 References list (Title Style: Times New Roman, font size: 12, align left)

The list of references should only include works that are cited in the text and that have been published or accepted for publication. Personal communications and unpublished works
