THE BARE MINIMUM: USING THIS EXPANSION WITH MINIMAL EFFORT

Time and money have different values to different people. Some have a great deal of time and will be able to print out all the material within this expansion. Others will want to expend the bare minimum of effort but still wish to try this expansion. Other still may have reservations about printing costs. Thankfully Arkham Horror is a modular game and many elements can be ignored. The new Ancient Ones, Investigators, Heralds, Cults, Institutions, Common Items, Unique Items, Spells, etc. are all predominantly optional.

To this end, this word document has been prepared. If you print out and construct the cards and tokens in the bare minimum document, you will have copies of the pieces you need to use the Lovecraft Country Horror, including cards which are specifically referred to in encounters. To use the bare minimum, you will need to print out the following:

of encounters. (If you’re really prepared to wing it, just use the Martin’s Beach Horror and redraw any cards which refer to other items, effects or conditions)
