American Fire Extinguisher Scholarship ProgramThe AFSA Scholarship Contest is open to high school seniors in the United States who plan to further their education at a college/university or certified trade school in the United States. The scholarship is not based on financial need. Relatives of AFSA staff or board members may not enter. You must be a high school senior during the 2016-2017 school year who will attend a college/university or trade school in the United States starting with the fall 2017 semester.Requirements: All applicants must read the "Fire Sprinkler Essay" presentation, given on the website, about automatic fire sprinklers and take a ten-question multiple-choice test. This is an open-book test and you may print out the paper beforehand for reference during testing. The Law Firm of Ayo and Iken, a Florida law firm helping people with divorce and custody issues recognizes parents who co-parent their children despite the hardships of a separated household. Parents that successfully prioritize the best interests of their children should be recognized. We would like the children of those parents to be a success in life and recognize the outstanding example of parenting shown by their mothers and fathers.

The Law Firm of Ayo and Iken, would like to help Florida high school seniors who have lived in a divided household from which two parents strive to maintain respect for each other as an ongoing concern while caring for their children. Two winners, selected by a committee of child custody attorneys, will each be awarded a $1,000 scholarship to be used toward their first year of college. Daughters of the American Revolution National SocietyThe NSDAR awards multiple scholarships to students showing dedication to the pursuit of an undergraduate degree in one of the following areas: history, political science, economics, government or nursing.
