AICPA Scholarships for Minority Accounting StudentsThe AICPA Minority Scholarship awards outstanding minority students to encourage their selection of accounting as a major and their ultimate entry into the profession. American Fire Extinguisher Scholarship ProgramThe AFSA Scholarship Contest is open to high school seniors in the United States who plan to further their education at a college/university or certified trade school in the United States. The scholarship is not based on financial need. Relatives of AFSA staff or board members may not enter. You must be a high school senior during the 2016-2017 school year who will attend a college/university or trade school in the United States starting with the fall 2017 semester.Requirements: All applicants must read the "Fire Sprinkler Essay" presentation, given on the website, about automatic fire sprinklers and take a ten-question multiple-choice test. This is an open-book test and you may print out the paper beforehand for reference during testing. For each question answered correctly, students will receive one (1) entry into a drawing for one of ten $2,000 scholarships. For each question answered incorrectly, you will be given one more chance at the end of the exam to answer those questions correctly. American Nuclear Society Scholarship ProgramThe American Nuclear Society believes in rewarding its members for their academic, services and leadership excellence. ANS Incoming Freshmen ScholarshipANS Incoming Freshman Scholarships are awarded to graduating high-school seniors who have enrolled,full-time, in college courses and are pursuing a degree in nuclear engineering or have the intent to pursue a degree in nuclear engineering. ANS will give a maximum of four Incoming Freshman Scholarships annually. Each award is $1000. ARRL Foundation the National Association for Amateur RadioThe ARRL Foundation administers scholarships for post secondary education students holding a validFCC-granted Amateur Radio license. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $5000 or more.Scholarships are funded by generous individuals and Amateur Radio organizations to encourage radio amateurs to pursue their educational goals. All ARRL Foundation-administered scholarships are intended exclusively for educational use, to provide assistance with costs of tuition, room, board, books and/orother fees essential to the education of the recipient. Automotive Hall of Fame ScholarshipThe Automotive Hall of Fame serves as administrator to over $20,000 in combined college scholarships annually. Ayo & Iken Children of Divorce Scholarship

The Law Firm of Ayo and Iken, a Florida law firm helping people with divorce and custody issues recognizes parents who co-parent their children despite the hardships of a separated household. Parents that successfully prioritize the best interests of their children should be recognized. We would like the children of those parents to be a success in life and recognize the outstanding example of parenting shown by their mothers and fathers.

The Law Firm of Ayo and Iken, would like to help Florida high school seniors who have lived in a divided household from which two parents strive to maintain respect for each other as an ongoing concern while caring for their children. Two winners, selected by a committee of child custody attorneys, will each be awarded a $1,000 scholarship to be used toward their first year of college. Daughters of the American Revolution National SocietyThe NSDAR awards multiple scholarships to students showing dedication to the pursuit of an undergraduate degree in one of the following areas: history, political science, economics, government or nursing. The DAR Scholarship Committee awards scholarships to qualified applicants regardless of race religion, sex or national origin. All multi-year scholarships, typically renewable up to four years, must be for consecutive years of attendance at an accredited college or university in the United States. The ONLY exception is the American Indian Scholarship that is available for students pursuing vocational training. Davidson Fellows ScholarshipThe Davidson Fellows Scholarship awards $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000 scholarships to extraordinary young people, 18 and under, who have completed a significant piece of work.

Application categories are Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Literature, Music, Philosophy and Outside the Box. Florida Association of the Deaf ScholarshipFor the school year of 2016-2017, the FAD Board has voted to award two $1,000 scholarships to two selected seniors for their higher education at an accredited institution. The first two scholarships is to be awarded to a senior from the Florida School for the Deaf and the second scholarship to a senior from a mainstreamed school in Florida.

Duration of Awards

Scholarships will be a one-time award and are nonrenewable.

Eligible Applicants*Must have a significant bilateral hearing loss (30 dB or greater) unaided asshown on a current audiogram.*Must complete all courses for a high school Standard Diploma. RMHC U.S Scholarship Program Helping students afford the education of their dreamsStudents across the country work hard to earn top marks, dreaming of the college they'll attend and the education they'll receive. Unfortunately, many of these students won’t be able to afford it.

We want these students to reach their full potential. To help them accomplish this, our network of U.S. Chapters, along with the global office of RMHC, offer scholarships to students in financial need who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership and community involvement. Since 1985, more than $60 million in scholarships have been awarded.

Knight Essay ContestThe National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) invites all high school students (9th through 12th grades) interested in the American Revolution to participate in the George S. & Stella M. Knight Essay Contest. The contest is open to all students attending home schools, public, parochial, or private high schools in that same grade range.

To participate, students must submit an original 800- to 1,200-word essay based on an event, person, philosophy or ideal associated with the American Revolution, Declaration of Independence, or the framing of the United States Constitution.
