Hello students! Today we are going to take a trip through time and find out how our world today is related and changed from the early civilization of Ancient Greece!

Welcome to your first stop! In order to begin to understand how Ancient Greece has effected out world today, we must take a look at Ancient Greece, more specifically Athens, the capital of Greece.

Begin by pressing the play button on the panoramic view of Athens. You will see the Parthenon and many other structures from Ancient Greece that you can zoom in on. As you look at the first panoramic of The Parthenon, I would like you to zoom in, and answer the questions provided on your sheet about the architecture of this building.

Next, click the forward arrow to get a view at Odeon of Herodes Atticus, a famous theatre in Athens. Zoom in on the theatre and discover some of its architecture. Theatre today has very much been influenced by ancient theatre. Take the time to think about and answer your question about theatre.

Now that we have a taste of what Ancient Athens and Greece looked like, lets dive deeper into how it has influenced many other aspects of our world today!
