Alacante to the Villa

Leave the airport and follow the big blue signs for the motorway (A-7).

Take the exit for the A-7 north (signposted to Alicante, Benidorm, Valencia) (on the right in the pic)

Continue on the motorway through Alicante, through the tolls (take a ticket) and past Benidorm to junction 63. This should take around an hour.

When you exit the motorway, pay the toll (just under €6) and follow signs for Teulada.

You will reach this roundabout up ahead, signposting Teulada as the first exit. Take that exit.

Go straight over the next roundabout, left at the next roundabout, and then first exit off the next roundabout.

You will find yourself on the main street of Teulada, a dual carriageway with some shops on both sides.

Go to the end of the street, get in the left hand lane.

At the roundabout, head straight on (2nd exit) but be careful as there is a stop junction in the middle of the roundabout.

Follow this winding road for some time until you enter a small town called Benitachell.

Halfway through the town, at a set of traffic lights, the road bends right and gets narrower.

Continue down this road and out of the town past a MasyMas supermarket on the right (the best place to stop for food if you are travelling directly to the Villa)

Continue down the hill until you reach this sign for “Cami Cansalaes” – Take this right

The junction isn’t very obvious so keep an eye out for it.

Stay on this road for some time until you drive down a hill and get to this junction

To go to the villa continue with these directions. To go to the Arenal go to the heading marked “To the Arenal” below.

Turn right at this stop sign, and take the 2nd exit (unconfirmed – this is a new roundabout). This will take you past a doctors on the left, an Aldi and then finally a supermarket called Saladar (all on the left).

Immediately after Saladar turn right towards Cosa Nova

Follow this road all the way up the hill until the brow where one road bears right, but the road you want to continue on turns almost hairpin, steeply up to the right.

At the top of the hill you will see a Himalayan/Indian restaurant. Turn right after this into Carrer Del Mila.

Continue over a km on this road, passing a large intersection in which you continue straight ahead.

After two blind corners turning right, you will start to go downhill.

The villa is on the left with a large black gate for the driveway.

Number 87.

You have a key to the pedestrian door. The remote for the garage and gate is in the Villa, in the basket in front of the opening between the kitchen and living area.

To the Arenal

Go straight over at Stop sign (in the image above)

Continue straight on and take the second exit off the roundabout (1st exit

is a no entry)

Take the next right.

Then at the roundabout take the 3rd exit (directly over)

The road bends round to the right and then to the left

At the next (mini) roundabout go straight over (1st exit I believe)

Lastly a final roundabout to go straight over into the car park on the Arenal.
