The area we will be visiting is a vast desert wilderness with great contrasts and beauty.Soussusvlei is a salt and clay pan surrounded by high red dunes, located in the southern part of Namibia Desert, the Namib-Naukluft National Park. The name "Sossusvlei" is of mixed origin and roughly means "dead-end marsh".

DAY 10 & 11

Our next overnight stop will be about 150km from the South African border post at a majestic 6,000 hectare sheep farm near the small town of Grünau in the far South of Namibia that has been in the family since 1942.
