Built in 1927, the Nourse is a landmark venue located in the heart of San Francisco’s Performing Arts Center (across the street from Davies Hall musicians’ entrance). The theater features excellent acoustics, a well-designed layout offering unobstructed views throughout the orchestra and balcony, and original architectural details; it’s an ideal venue for a wide range of performances and a uniquely beautiful setting. City Arts & Lectures has refurbished the hall, installing state of the art lighting and high quality sound equipment including Meyer speakers, new curtains, plush upholstered seats, and dressing room.

PERFORMANCE BONDPerformance Bond covers all estimated Personnel & Equipment Expenses. Payment received no later than 14 working days prior to performance to be held against box office receipts.

Personnel Services: The following cost estimates reflect the minimum required performance personnel only. Schedule and technical requirements will determine total costs.

ADDITIONAL FEESAdministration Fee: There will be a 10% fee for all payments made by City Arts & Lectures on behalf of the tenant.

Merchandise sales: All merchandise items and prices must be approved in advance. City Arts & Lectures receives 10% of gross sales.

Recording, Broadcasting or Telecasting: Requires separate agreement and union labor. Fees apply.
