She has been a lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Harvard Medical School and spent time in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico as a hospital-based intern assisting Mexican midwives and doctors. She has National Certification from the American College of Nurse Midwives. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Biography Dr. Crow graduated from Harvard Medical School and completed her residency in pediatrics at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She is board certified and practiced over 10 years at NorthShore Evanston Hospital, seeing patients at the Child & Adolescent Center and at the ETHS School-Based Health Center, while also serving as a pediatric inpatient hospitalist. Dr. Crow and her husband and their two children live in Evanston, where she is an active parent in wellness programs at their District 65 schools. In her spare time, she loves to run, bike, swim, and practice yoga, which she is also certified to teach. Dr. Crow speaks English and Spanish.

She is a certified family nurse practitioner and also a certified lactation educator with over 20 years of experience including Erie Family Health Center, the Child & Adolescent Center at NorthShore Evanston Hospital, and the ETHS School-Based Health Center. Before her career in nursing, she worked for a number of years in Latin America. Barbara has long been active in the Evanston community in collaboration with School District 65, Family Focus, Infant Welfare, and other organizations. She and her family live in Northfield. Ms. Dickinson speaks English and Spanish.

She received her M.D. from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. After a fellowship in health policy research, she completed a residency in pediatrics at Jacobi Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, where she served as chief resident. She is board certified in pediatrics. Dr. Horwitz grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago and lives in Skokie with her husband and their young daughter.
