The morning started with a meet and greet breakfast in the newly renovated Warrior Café located in the Delaware Valley High School. After a full breakfast, our guests were escorted to the auditorium, where the entire staff and student body waited in anticipation of our honored guests. Each service member was introduced to a thunderous round of applause. All came to the microphone sharing information related to which branch of service, length of time, and job responsibilities that were and are currently held. Two gave an in-depth explanation of their service time. Our program included the distribution to each individual a star from one of the retired flags that have hung over the Delaware Valley Middle School. The program concluded with a dual rendition of Taps being played by two student performers Lily Cosentino and Crista Cirello. DELAWARE VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL"Where Dreams Become Reality"

HONORING OUR VETERANS: The Delaware Valley Middle School celebrated our local veterans on Friday, November 8, 2019. This event continues to be one of the more memorable recognitions held during the year.  A huge thanks to Mr. McElroy and to Mr. Penberthy for their coordination of this event.

GRANDPARENTS CELEBRATED: This was the largest one of them all! Over 290 grandparents and students participated in our twelfth annual Grandparents Day held the morning of November 27, 2019. As usual, Mr. Niosi, Mrs. Luna, and the students of The Warrior Cafe prepared and served a full breakfast feast complete with all the fixings. Guests were first treated to musical performances involving the Delaware Valley Middle School Chorus. Keeping in tradition, Student Lighthouse Team members served as escorts and took photo keepsakes, family portraits that will be given to the children once processed. Ms. Stiger outdid herself decorating the cafeteria with beautiful table settings and student artwork. This is still by far the best way to begin Thanksgiving recess!

NJHS HAS SOME NEW COMPANY: The National Junior Honor Society held their induction ceremony the evening of November 20, 2019.  A special thank you to our guest speaker, Mrs. Cheryl Duquette, Director of Program Development for the Wayne/Pike Workforce Alliance. On this evening 42 students earned membership, as each has exemplified the necessary attributes associated with character, scholarship, leadership, and service. This was the second year of the program at DVMS. Mrs. Gandolfo has done an excellent job as advisor!

MELTING THE CROWD: Students took to the stage for three outstanding performances of Frozen Jr. This show was a spectacular choice as multiple performers were able to showcase such beautiful voices and talents. From the lights, to the cameras, and to the action, kudos to all and many thanks for making this a memorable event.

SONGFEST PARTICIPANTS: This is a picture of our 7th and 8th Graders at their PMEA District 10 Intermediate Songfest on November 15, 2019 at Nazareth High School.  150 students in grades 7 and 8 participated in the event.

LETTER RECEIVES A RESPONSE: Here is Eva Bogusta who received a t-shirt from her idol Tash Sultana, a singer and musical artist. Eva wrote to her in our letter writing club under the direction of Mrs. Paczkowski. As you can see, Eva was so excited to receive a response, autograph, and t-shirt by someone who inspires her and whom she admires. Her classmates were just as excited for her. Just one more example of the power of your words to make a difference in a positive way.

AFTER SCHOOL OPPORTUNITIES SHOWCASED: A club fair was held on November 16, 2019. Students had the opportunity to promote each club offering for our students during the day and for parents during the evening parent/teacher conferences. This is the second year displaying available activities. This has proven a positive method of promoting activities and creating awareness.
