For this task you will lead a ministry-orientated project/event. Your overall goal is to mobilise a team of people to minister together on a project of your choice. It is an opportunity to grow in personal development, ministry and leadership. You will plan the project, communicate it to those involved, conduct the activity and gain feedback. The project needs to have a ministry related purpose and is working to achieve an outcome that can be measured.

Firstly, consider WHO? Work with Holy Spirit to identify a group of people that he is calling you to run a ministry project for. Important: the group must include at least two people you are not familiar with (for example they may be friends of people in your church small group that you are not familiar with). Examples include: a church group, a workplace group; a community group (e.g. sporting club); an aboriginal community; a refugee community; children/teens from the local community; elderly from the local community; the homeless; those from overseas learning English; etc.

Secondly, consider WHAT? Work with Holy Spirit and consider what will serve this group of people best. You might choose to run: a ‘vision board’ based event; a church small group meeting; a presentation or workshop about understanding your purpose and calling; an activity for children; an event for youth; a prayer gathering, a community event; Christian charity fundraiser/awareness night; start a breakfast club at a local school; run an art workshop; etc. The possibilities are literally endless!
