North Central Community Cares Partnership (NCCCP), a local 501c3 non-profit organization, had a busy 2019 and focused on pedestrian/biker safety, disaster relief, dental health, and educational needs.

NCCCP purchased 272 reflective bands for runner and biker safety in the summer of 2019. NCCCP provided reflective bands to the Antelope County Does Care coalition, the Valentine, O’Neill, Plainview, and Pierce Police Departments to disperse in their communities. As seen in the picture, Kyla Abbott of O’Neill prepares for an evening ride by placing the reflective bands on her bike.

NCCCP received $20,000 from an in-state philanthropist to renovate the recently destroyed Lynch RV Park. The 2019 March flooding brought devastation to Boyd County, leaving many residents displaced from their homes. It is NCCCP’s and the anonymous donor’s wish that the newly renovated RV Park would provide a temporary place of peace for Boyd County guests and residents.

NCCCP applied for a $5,000 Benjamin A. Black Foundation grant to provide local youth with a gift of joy and a gift of need this Christmas Season. NCCCP, with support from Stadium Sports O’Neill, was able to purchase 179 Adidas bookbags. North Central District Health Department donated toothbrushes and toothpaste as items of need. NCCCP wishes all area youth a Merry Christmas and encourages them to work hard at school.
