Mid Term Proposal

My idea for this collage project is to bring today’s technology and news/gossip into the

biblical world. These are very different subjects especially since I will be using renaissance

paintings of famous biblical stories. The clash will definitely be unique and somewhat

humorous, however, they will also tell a story as well.

The one biblical story I will start with is very appropriate, since I’m starting with a

painting of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, the beginning of mankind. This collage will

feature jokes and beliefs about events that are happening and have happened this year. The

next will be the famous battle of David and the Goliath. After that Noah’s ark and then I will end

with Daniel in the Lion’s Den. All will have and show relevant issues that we have today and will

incorporate technology to help portray these messages. Like I said, I want it to be unique and a

little humorous, but

informative and

factual as well.
