Mathematical DevelopmentR – use 3d shapes to make models and picturesUsing wooden or plastic blocks or lego use 3d shapes such as cubes and cuboid to make a model of your choice. How many cubes have you used? How many cuboids have you used?1 –Use 3d shapes to describe how they fit together Can you find cube, cuboid, cone and sphere shaped objects around your home and use them to make a model of your choice. Describe to an adult the shapes that you have used. Here is my castle. I have used cylinders, cuboids, spheres and a cube.

2 – make increasingly more complex or accurate models with 3d shapes
