Our Compassion Letter Writing is taking place on Friday, March 8th at 6:30pm. This is such a wonderful opportunity for us to show some love to the kids and the facility that we’ve made connections with in El Salvador. Feel free to stop by to write some letters and enjoy some delicious flan!

It’s that time of year again! Sunday, March 10th we spring forward, so be sure to prepare for that, as our service time will still be at 10am! We are looking forward to the warmer weather and the spring time to come!

We are so excited to be serving the Common Ground Free Store this month for Venture Service Saturday. March 9th, the students will be meeting at the free store at 1pm to help clean and organize and share the love of Jesus Christ to our community. J.A.M. & Jr. J.A.M.Wednesday evenings could not be more fun when you get to experience J.A.M. & Jr. J.A.M. If you have a child that is between the school age of Kindergarten through 5th grade, consider joining us! This is a fun, age-graded evening for kids to learn to love and follow Jesus. We meet on Wednesdays during the school year from 6:30-8:00pm.

Venture Student Ministry

There is a 5th Sunday in March (3/31) and that means we are having a “5th Sunday Citywide Worship Service.” It will be that night from 7:00-8:30pm at Delaware City Vineyard (32 Troy Road). If you have been at any of the previous Citywide Services, including the one we hosted at DG last year, you know what an encouragement they are. There will be a time of worship with music, prayer, and a message. After the service, there will be a light dessert reception. Save the date and plan to be there!

Parent/ Child Dedication

We want to officially welcome Debbie Cabrera as the new Director of Grace Family Daycare & Preschool. Debbie began in the Daycare ministry in early February and brings with her a lot of great leadership experience. She has jumped right in and is getting acclimated to this new role. We are so excited to have her on staff and look forward to how she will lead and direct not only the childcare, but building into the spiritual lives of the kids, their families and the daycare teachers. 

We will have Parent/Child dedications on Sunday morning, March 17th. This is an opportunity for parents to publicly commit to raising their child(ren) to know, live, and give the truth of Jesus Christ. Daycare ministry update

Coming up at the end of this month is our first “5th Sunday Party” for Venture Student Ministries. If there is a month where we have more than four Sunday’s, we will be having a party in place of regular youth group, so NOW IS THE TIME to spread the word! Come for a night of food, fun and games! Also, if you are a student who would like to learn how to get more involved with student ministry by learning about life groups, service opportunities, ministry trips, etc. please feel free to contact pastor Sam Moore at sammoore@delawaregrace.org.

As a church, we want to come alongside our daycare ministry and encourage our teachers, the students, and the daycare families. There are opportunities to come in and volunteer at the daycare. Perhaps it will be to read to the kids, to hold some babies, to encourage and pray with teachers as you help in their classrooms. They are looking for people, specifically in the mornings anytime between 9:00-12:00. If you are interested in volunteering, or at least learning more, you can contact Debbie directly at debbiecabrera@delawaregrace.org or calling the daycare at 740-363-7823.
