INTROIT HYMN #324 “Open My Eyes That I May See” (Vs 1)Open my eyes that I may see, glimpses of truth Thou hast for me; place in my hands the wonderful key that shall unclasp and set me free. Silently now I wait for Thee, ready my God They will to see; open my eyes, illumine me, Spirit Divine!

CALL TO WORSHIP (unison)O God, you are our God, we seek you, our souls thirst

for you; our flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So we have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, our lips will praise you. So we will bless you as long as we live; we will lift up our hands and call on your name. Our souls are satisfied as with a rich feast, and our mouths praise you with joyful lips. We lift our praise and worship to you our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

(Psalm 63:1-5 - adapted)

PRAYER OF ADORATIONO Lord, during this time of uncertainty and isolation, we look to you to lift our spirits in worship and love. Our community of loving people are together in your Spirit even though we are apart. Your love and mercy are ever present, everywhere, and in every time. This day we give you honor as our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

*HYMN #275 “God of Our Life” (vs. 1,3)God of our life, through all the circling years, we trust in thee: in all the past, through all our hopes and fears, Thy hand we see. With each new day, when morning lifts the veil, we own Thy mercies, Lord, which never fail.

God of the coming years, through paths unknown we follow Thee; when we are strong, Lord, leave us not alone; our refuge be. Be Thou for us in life our daily bread, our heart’s true home when all our years have sped.

*CALL TO LISTENINGIn this time of confession we look to the Lord in silence. Sit comfortably and breathe deeply in through your nose and out of your mouth. Focus on your breathing and be open to hearing God’s still small voice. It may come in a thought, or a scripture, or in a

ray of light through the colorful windows.A time of silent reflection

*PRAYER OF LISTENINGNow, as you sit in silence please meditate on these words:“May the words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing to in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”

“To you, Lord, I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in You.”

“The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

“The one who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.”

“I will say of the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.”

“Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ears to my pleas.”

In your faithfulness answer my prayers. Amen.

*RESPONSE You are my hiding place, you always fill my heart withsongs of deliverance whenever I am afraid. I will trust in You, I will trust in You. Let the weak say“I am strong in the strength of the Lord” (sing 2x’s)I will trust in You.
