Tell your child that we will be continuing our big topic by learning about a new small creature. This week we are learning about … Give your child clues to see if they can guess which mini beast we are learning about. They come in a variety of sizes. They like to eat flies. Tell them we are going to learn about spiders.

Create a story map of Spinderella with your child. Practise retelling the story over and over again.
Create pictures from key parts of the story and practise putting them in order from start to finish.
