Ocean Freight Manager TCRS2032 HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW Responsible for running the Ocean Freight Department/Program in the Buffalo, NY area EXPECTATIONS Responsible for oversight of the Ocean Freight Department Full responsibility to set up, clear, ensure delivery of ocean freight – full supply chain C-TPAT oversight Work with all Government agencies Fully understanding of working in an OTI/NVOCC transportation area Ability to negotiate ocean carrier rates, and ability to route cargo on vessels Must have excellent customer service skills! ESSENTIALS Experienced Ocean Freight management – min 5 yrs to include working for an NVOCC Full Supply Chain forwarding experience Will cover carrier negotiations, interactions, issues Working with government agencies, C-TPAT experience Ability to meet all requirements for the OTI application process Extensive experience in Microsoft applications Working with Military shipping a plus!!
