SUCCESS CRITERIA:I have recorded different solutions using different numbers

I have chosen a number of cows more than 20. I have shared the cows evenly in different number of stables. I have tried different ways of sharing the cows.

TASK: Luka the farmer had more than 20 cows in the paddock. All the cows needed to be put in stables for the night, each stable had the same number of cows. How many stables did Luka have so they would fit in evenly with no cows left out?

I have given James more than 20 Malteaser’s to start off with.

TASK: James opened a packet of Malteaser’s that he needed to share with some of his classmates. How many Malteaser’s did James start off with? How many classmates did he need to give them to? How many Malteaser’s did each student get? Was there any left over?
