Food Drive Thursdays offers guests the opportunity to enjoy Festival of Lights at a special 2 for 1 admission discount in recognition of helping those in need this holiday season. Every Thursday night from Nov. 17 through Jan. 5, with the exception of Thanksgiving, visitors can bring a non-perishable food item and receive 2-for-1 admission to Festival of Lights. The food drive program will benefit Galveston County and Houston Food Banks. “We love that Festival of Lights has become part of the holidays for many families each year,” said Moody Gardens President and CEO John Zendt. “We are even more thrilled for guests to take part in the spirit of the holidays by helping those in need through Food Drive Thursdays.” The mile-long Festival of Lights trail is one of the eight holiday attractions at Moody Gardens that features over 100 lighted scenes themed to holiday music complete with an outdoor ice skating rink. Other attractions include the Arctic Slide, train rides, Cirque Joyeux Noel dinner and show, new holiday films in the MG 3D Theater and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer 4D at the 4D Special FX Theater, ICE LAND: Ice Sculptures, A Caribbean Christmas and more. Guests that are looking to stay overnight or an extended stay to enjoy the holiday attractions are encouraged to look at the family-friendly Moody Gardens Hotel that offers spectacular views of the destination’s iconic pyramids dressed in holiday lights. Admission to the Festival of Lights is $10.95 per person, including ice skating admission to the area’s only outdoor ice skating rink. Galveston, Texas — The holiday season is here and so is the season of giving. Food Drive Thursdays offers guests the opportunity to enjoy Festival of Lights at a special 2 for 1 admission discount in recognition of helping those in need this holiday season.

Every Thursday night from Nov. 17 through Jan. 5, with the exception of Thanksgiving, visitors can bring a non-perishable food item and receive 2-for-1 admission to Festival of Lights. The food drive program will benefit Galveston County and Houston Food Banks.

Admission to ICE LAND is Admission for adults is $26.95, $21.95 for seniors and $15.95 for children. Admission to all attractions is free for children 3 and under.
