About EmoryEmory University is located in Druid Hills Georgia a nearby suburb of Atlanta located northeast of the city. This provides a great student life balance, close enough to go to the city on the weekends yet far enough to have our own distinct campus with its own personality. Emory also offers something for everyone to study with its nine academic divisions within the university ranging from a college of arts and science to a business school and school of public health. This means there are plenty of possible majors, minor and programs at Emory. So if you are not sure what you want to study in college no worries, at Emory you will have the time and resources to figure out this difficult decision. On top of this there are two admissions paths into Emory university and three paths out meaning there is a vast amount of flexibility at the school.

Student LifeEmory prides itself in having plenty of athletics, arts and activities to keep you busy. It is easy to get involved since there are over 300 student organizations here at Emory ranging from social to community service groups. Emory also has it’s fair share of traditions such as Wonderful Wednesday’s when seasonal events are held in Asbury Circle for a terrific midweek break. Students are also encouraged to take advantage of more formal traditions such as the Carter Town Hall where President Jimmy Carter

holds an interactive discussion for all first year students. There are also many leadership opportunities around campus designed to get you accustomed to leadership roles.
