Description:Complaints of wiper failure during vehicle operation is reported via BASIS and direct in the warranty system. Investigation show that when steering column switch was operated in some cases a short was made. The short cirquit was caused just a brief instance which created relay damage through time and or direct damage to the fuse.

The software update prevents this short cirquit from appearing and protects the relay and fuse.

ImportantNon-AEBS (30053089_16) vehicles: fom version xxxxx_15 onwards a wiring loom has to be added. You can claim 75 Periods for the kibes update and mounting the wiring loom using defect code: BGBZ119.

AEBS Vehicles (30173720_06): Only Kibes update needed, 33 periods can be claimed using defect code: BGBZ119. Standard vehicle warranty will be applicable.
