What is a Color Wheel?

The color wheel is a visual representation of colors arranged according to their chromatic relationship. A color wheel has three different color groups in it. These are Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary colors. A primary color is a color that cannot be made from a combination of any other colors. A secondary color is made by mixing two primary colors. Tertiary colors are the resulting color formed when mixing a primary color and a secondary color together.

Directions: Your assignment is to create a color wheel out of objects that you find at home. Your color wheel requirement is to present the 6 color wheel only showing primary and secondary colors. If you want, you can to take on the challenge and get some extra credit if you can build the 12 color wheel. Anything in your house can be used but you must fine at least 3 objects in that color. You will set them up like a circle. After you are complete, take a picture of it upload it to our class padlet. Good Luck!!! I can wait to see what you come up with.
