I have discovered that it is a book alive with the word of God and it has made me thirst for more knowledge concerning the Catholic Church. UPDATE: I became a catholic on 22/3/08. St Faustina had her hand in this I believe and lets face it today's world has more need of Divine Mercy than at any other time. I am not a Catholic, but do study Religions of the World. It is recommended for all Catholics. I also recommend this to Christians that have Communion Services. However, that is in the past. I gave up on Church participation but I never gave up on God or my belief in the teachings of the Catholic Church.I grieves me greatly to see what the U.S. and the Church in the U.S. has become more like social Catholics, how we have so many representatives who proclaim themself Catholic but it seems like it is just another way to put their face in public. I am reminded of the pharaseswho love the high places and believe themselves superior.

My desolution is why these people when they are so out-spoken about the injuries being inflicted on Catholics and their beliefs and convictions. It sends a message to the uninformed that if the Church accepts their hypocrisy then it is O.K. for them to reject any teaching they are not comfortable with.I just hope it is not too late. It is time for the Church to stand up and fight. I hope the Catholics that come home will actually come home to a Church that still believes in and practices the teaching of the Church founded by our Lord, Jesus Christ.Isn’t it time to bring back ex-communication – not for the general lay person who may have been divorced, practiced birth control or even having and performing abortions – but for those like Nancy Pelosi who twist the Words of Christ and encourage others to do so. Fr Crean destorys Dawkins' central atheistic argument within the first chapter, and then proceeds meticulously and charitably to pick apart his other arguments one by one. The chapter explaining some of the aspects of Thomist metaphysics and epistemology are alone worth buying the book for.
