6. CLUB RULES AND MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

Data Protection and Privacy StatementIt is intended that the data collected via the membership form will be used by Wingrave Netball Club and shared with England Netball in order to clearly define who is a member of the club. The data is used so that the club can contact a member in order to request payments and for any other communications related to their involvement with Wingrave Netball Club.

Member ApplicationsThe Executive Committee shall be responsible for considering application for membership and shall decide if this application should be accepted. The decision will be in accordance with the non-discriminatory statement specified below.

‘Membership of the Club shall be open, and not unreasonably restricted on the grounds of sex, race or of political, religious or other opinions, to any person in the area prepared to accept and support the objectives of the club’

Wingrave Netball Membership feesUnless otherwise specified, Membership fees will be set annually and agreed by the Committee or determined at the Annual General Meeting. The subscription year runs from 1st Sept to 31st Aug.

All membership payments will be requested by Wingrave Netball through a payment portal. This will be provided in the form of a link on a email which will be sent to you at the beginning of each season.

England Netball Membership FeesThose members selected to play in the League (Senior and Youth) will be required to pay a fee to England Netball determined and set by the League and England Netball. This will also be paid through a payment portal in form of a link sent via an email prior to the beginning of the season.

Code of ConductAll members will be subject to the regulations of the WNC Constitution, this General Membership Agreement, and the Codes of Conduct adopted by the club. You must agree, along with any visitor, to keep to these at all times, copies of which are available. We hold the

right to update or change these at any time. You must show consideration to all other Club users. We will not put up with rude abusive language, the threat or the use of violence. Any unruly behavior may result in a member being banned indefinitely.

LiabilityThe Club will not be liable for damage or loss suffered to you or your guests' property other than the result of our proven negligence. We will also not be liable for any loss or damage (however caused) to any vehicles parked in the Club car park; vehicles & their contents are your responsibility.

ClothingAppropriate clothing must be worn at all times whilst using our Club's facilities. Appropriate soled trainers and clothing must be worn on all courts. This includes the removal of jewellery.

Programme SessionsIt is the member's responsibility to ensure they are capable of undergoing any warm-up, training, and games sessions provided. All exercises, sessions, and game participation are undertaken at the member’s own risk without recourse.

VisitorsALL visitors & guests MUST be signed in on our register. First session is FREE.
