First Year Engineering Student’s Association (FESA) 2018-2019

About FESA: -

FESA stands for First-year Engineering Student Association. FESA is an organization or committee for the students in first year. It is for the FE and by the FE as the committee members also comprise of all the first years students. FESA organizes gaming events, quiz, sports and recreational activities for the students. Also the role of FESA is not just limited to recreation, but any and all problems faced by the students in the first year can be helped to resolve by the FESA committee members.

Objectives: -

To promote the interaction between academia and industry by organizing industrial visits, special lectures and facilitate in industrial training.

Promoting the interests of students in various technical areas To encourage students to develop their personal skills, like event management & time

management by organizing intra & inter Collegiate Events. To bring about the technical development of students by organizing seminars,

workshops and other activities.

Event Conducted on: -10/08/2018

Venue: - Mohini Chhabria convention center

Introduction: - This was the first event organized by FESA. Principle Dr.Vaishali Patil and Head of First Year Dr. Swati Kolet inaugurated the event by lightning of lamp. The objectives of FESA are discussed. The brief introduction of FESA committee is given by Prof. Amit Kasar, also he explains the roles and responsibilities of committee members.

About the event: - The event comprises various activities as follows.

2 DaresA small game which involved picking of Random names with Random tasks from boxes. The person whose name is picked out has to perform the mentioned task.

Sadvee perform a melodious song.

4 RiddlesSlides with riddles were shown in the presentation and the person in the audience who knows the answer had to stand and say it out loud

5Dance by Pratiksha

Pratiksha performed a dance on various remixed songs

6 Lucky Persona certain trait was picked upon, and the lucky person in the audience who matched the description was rewarded

7 Stand up Stand-up comedy by Rucha. Stand-up comedy by Rohan.

8 Prize DistributionThe participants in Dance, Song and Stand-up comedy were awarded. And the winners of Dares, Lucky Person were rewarded.

9 Conclusion A short thanksgiving speech to the faculty and audience.

a. Ms. Sejal Kalyankar proposed that there is need to conduct a lecture on personality development.

b. With the consent of Prof. Aadesh Patwardhan it was decided to schedule an interactive session of Dr. Prasheek Gaikwad, a well known hypnotist on personality development.

c. Accordingly a formal invitation letter is prepared to call Dr. Prasheek.

Event Conducted on: -10/10/2018

Venue: - Mohini Chhabria convention center

About the event

Dr. Prasheek Gaikwad is a well known hypnotist and practicing clinical psychologist. He is called to conduct an interactive session. This session illustrates how to memorize the things, how to overcome different phobias. Dr. Prasheek explains various aspects related to mind and memory operations. He told students small tricks to enhance mind capacities. Also he demonstrates how hypnosis helps us to overcome different phobias and increase mind capacity.

All First year students along with faculty were present for this event. The event lasts with a thanks giving program.

Nath it was decided to conduct a poster competition on Energy and environment. c. Hence it was decided to organize a poster competition on Energy and Environment.

Name of the event:Poster making Competition

Date of the event: 26/11/2018

Description of this event: This poster making competition was conducted by FESA on the theme of

“Energy and Environment”. Thus, all the participants were requested to make a poster on any topic

related to this theme and were judged accordingly. All the posters were displayed at a single place and the participants were requested to tell and describe the poster and how relevant it is.



The ribbon cutting inauguration was done by Principal Madam, Dr. Vaishali Patil and the First year BCEEE faculty judged the poster and ranked accordingly.
