Convention Prayer requests for Oct. 12: Please pray for those involved in vocational youth ministry as they continue to minister to the next generation, equip leaders to invest in students, and inspire young people to walk with the Lord. Please pray for protection over their lives and their families, for decisions they need to make, for energy and balance as they continue to serve the Lord in this way

Oct. 15 7 pm Choir practice at the Church. Barss Corner will be joining us at 7:30 to practice for the choir festival on Sunday.
Oct. 18 7 - 10:30 am Breakfast at the Community Centre
Oct. 19 4 pm Our choir, combined with Barss Corner choir, will be singing at the choir festival at Liverpool Baptist Church. Everyone welcome.
Oct. 20 7:30 pm Hall meeting at the home of Allan and Joanne Veinot.
Oct. 26 2 - 4 pm Open House at the Barss Corner Hall in honor of Myrtle Taylor's 99th birthday. Everyone welcome - best wishes only.
Oct. 26 3:00 p.m. at Springfield United Baptist Church “AN AFTERNOON OF MUSIC" featuring “Katz Pyjamas”.
Nov. 8 8:30 am - 4 pm A one-day workshop at the Bridgetown Baptist Church, providing a Christian perspective of hope, understanding and practical help to those who struggle or support others with mental health struggles. See poster on bulletin board.

The Sunday school is in need of volunteers to help teach. If you would like to help out please see Terri. It would involve one Sunday morning a month if we can get enough for a rotation. Christmas tree decorating will be held on November 28th starting at 6 pm. It will be taken down on January 4th following church. Christmas concert will be held December 7th at 3:00 pm
Messy Saints - We have been asked to do Messy Saints on Nov. 14th - if this is a problem with anyone, please let me know. (Merna)
