ACTRESS gets up to go to the lavatory.SHE exits.

MÂNI is still struggling with the cell phone.SPECIALIST snaps.

SPECIALIST(to Mâni)

the headlines off the cover of the magazineACTRESS left behind.

ACTRESS enters from lavatory. SHEreturns to her seat to find Mâni peering overon her magazine. SHE picks up hermagazine and sits.

EVERYONE watches this awkwardinteraction with Mâni.

MÂNI quickly removes his fixture from themagazine and gazes at her with a reservedsense of his feelings. SHE offers him themagazine which HE initially refuses, butwhen SHE offers a second time, HE humblyaccepts.

MOM(to Mâni)

You’re normal! That’s such a relief. We’ve been on the same three flightswith you since Ohio, and I have been SO nervous.

The “fasten-seat belt” sound pings, clearingpeople to move about the cabin.

MÂNI undoes his seat belt and begins tostand. EVERYONE begins watching hisactions.

PROFESSOR throws Mâni a “are you sureyou want to do that?” look.
