HHWWhat is household hazardous waste? Household hazardous waste (HHW) refers to waste from hazardous products commonly used in homes, such as used oils, paints, solvents, compact fluorescent light bulbs, pesticides, and drugs.

FINAL HOUSEHOLD WASTEWhat is final household waste?Final waste is residue that cannot be recycled, reused, or composted and is therefore destined for the landfill. This is waste that ends up in the green or black bin, for example:

How to dispose of ulti-mate waste? Through regular mechanized collection.

IMPORTANTSince collection is mechanized, all residences and small businesses must acquire a 240 or 360-litre green or black bin with a European grip. Garbage bags, wooden boxes, and metal bins will not be collected. Consult cantley.ca for more information.
