Announcements for December 21, 2014

CHRISTMAS ANGEL PROJECT LAST DAY The Mission Committee has chosen New Life Center as its Christmas Angel project. NLC offers shelter, safety and services to families seeking independent, violence-free lives. They have a comprehensive 120 day program after which 96% of families do not return to an abusive relationship. You will be given the opportunity to donate to New Life Center today after all Sunday services in the breezeway. A NLC favor will be given to each donor for a suggested donation of $25.00. All donations will be accepted. Let’s make this a very Merry Christmas for New Life Center.

YOUTH GROUPS

The youth Christmas party is today from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Watt House. Youth, 6th through 12th grades, are invited. We will have lots of food and fun!

All youth groups will resume on January 11th, 2015, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in Souers Hall. If you are in grades 6th through 12th, come and join in!

CHILDREN IN CHURCH

We will have Children in Church in lieu of Sunday school on Sunday, December 28th.

CRAFTERS FELLOWSHIP Feeling creative? Are you trying to find time to make adjustments to a special project or looking forward to starting a new one? Tonight’s Crafters Fellowship has a place for you. Join us in Zieske Hall at 5:00 p.m. tonight for a time of work and friendship. Bring any project you would like to work on and be ready for some stimulating interaction. Have you ever wanted to know what happens “behind the scenes’? The Worship Committee is looking for volunteers interested in joining our group to assist with various tasks and duties. Volunteering for the Worship Committee is an easy, fun and low time–commitment way to help the Church. Job duties include setting up for weekly services as well as helping out during various holiday and special services. You can volunteer for one day or for as many days as you like. It is a great way to get involved! Those interested in joining the Worship Committee or in learning more about this volunteer opportunity are asked to contact Lea-Ann at leaann.clement@gmail.com.

COYOTES FAITH AND FAMILY NIGHT The Arizona Coyotes play the Ottawa Senators on Saturday, January 10th, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. Seats are either $55 for the lower level or $25 for the upper level. Sign ups will resume next Sunday in Souers Hall after each service. Bring your friends and family and enjoy Faith and Family night.

GOOD TIMES FELLOWSHIP Seniors, our next dinner/show will be “The King and I” at the Arizona Broadway Theater on Friday, February 13th, 2015, at 5:30 p.m. The ticket price is $70.00, which includes dinner, show, sales tax and ticket gratuity. Sign ups will resume next Sunday in Souers Hall after each service; you can also sign up in the church office during the week. Make checks payable to The Church at Litchfield Park and note Good Times Fellowship on the memo line. The deadline to pay for tickets is Friday, January 16th, 2015. Helping Hands assist with meals and is responsible for receptions following memorial services.
